This is handy, easy to use anf good quality. I carry it with my all the time and love it.

This cd player is the best. The sound is exceptionally good. Never skips and always reads the cd's no matter if they are from the library or newly purched. I have had trouble with other players about a month after purchase but this one is still running great.

This is a good value, providing great sound for CD's and FM radio. The functions are quite clear and usable.

This thing is a piece of crap. The outside frustration-ful packaging is heavier than the unit. That wouldn’t bother me so much if 1) the player worked, or 2) if having to cut several pieces off the packaging wasn’t required to open it, making it non-returnable. First, I popped in a MP3 audio book, which was the main reason I purchased the product. No matter what I try (the buttons on the side are extra cheap and wobble!), the display would either say “No Disc” or “Reading” and just make a grinding noise. Thought perhaps the audio was too long to play, as I have seen reviews indicating some players play short song MP3 CDs, but not audio books. It’s around 11 hours in length. It plays in my Sony player fine. I removed the CD, replaced it, etc. making sure it was properly inline, pushed far enough down, etc. So, onto a “regular” CD. This has to work, right? Nope. Same results! Doesn’t work. I know the options are pretty much nil on CD players anymore, but this thing is like a toy...no actual function.

Gave this to my mom. She likes to listen to her meditation cd's on it. Works great. Nice sound. easy to operate.

I use this Insignia CD player to play back my backing musical tracks when gigging live. So far it has been flawless in its performance and so easy to operate. The extra bass boost and the included headphones are a nice touch.

This was bought for my daughter so she would have something of her own for her music. It's easy for her to use and she really likes it.

A good device for the person that needs a relatively inexpensive portable CD player. Best feature is low cost and definitely portable. Disadvantages are high rate of battery power consumption and inability to retain the last played point on a CD for rapid resumption at start up. One has to search for where they were when they turned the player off.

This CD player does about what is expected of it--it plays CDs. However, it is severely lacking in major features, such as the ability to return to CDs where you left off, forcing you to fast-forward whenever you start over. Furthermore, this CD eats up batteries like crazy, as I've only owned it for a few weeks and have gone through at least four sets of batteries, not having used it that much. You also have to make sure to be careful when storing, and ideally use the hold function, or either the radio or the CD player may end up betting turned on of its own accord.

it is better than the base model has chapters function. batteries run down fast, does work with plugging into car. makes up for loss of cd player in new vehicle

My new 2015 Chrysler does not have a CD player. This player works very good thru the car Aux jack from the player Aux jack (cord not included with player). The volume does not adjust thru the Aux jack with the player volume control, but does adjust with the car volume control. When turned off , it DOES NOT return to stop track. Note track # before turning off, then skip to the correct track after turning back on. For extended play, rechargeable batteries or a power adapter would be helpful.

It is very hard to find a CD player. I'm glad Best Buy was able to fill the need for nostalgic technology. This is a great player, well worth the money.

I purchased for my mom who has aiheimers so she can sit and listen in her wheelchair. She really enjoys moving around and being able to have her music

Light enough to carry in a big pocket, great sound with the provided headset.

Unit has excellent sound for CDs although I think battery life could be better. The real issue I have with this unit is that I could not get radio signals inside.

I bought this for a long road trip where I was a passenger. The other passengers are not into having the radio on, so I needed something to help pass the time. I recently lost my I pod and needed something quick and cheap. If you dont mind carrying around a bunch of Cd's, this item worked Great!! I was amazed at how good the sound was also. This was an inexpensive way to have my Rock music available to me! I am very happy with this purchase. I will be bringing it with me to the beach too. I do wish it had a strap, so I could attach it when I walk. I did not even know they still made or sold these, but of course Best Buy had it!! My go to for all my music needs!

I was looking to have as a backup to play my older collection of MP3 CDs. I wanted to have something to use during camping, or power outages. This fit the bill perfectly. The unit came with some lightweight headphones, which work well. Overall for the price, and yes a bit of now old school technology, the unit is a great value.

Good sound quality for portable CD Player. Easy to use.

Bought this for my kid and she likes. A couple times it has stopped in the middle of a song, but otherwise it works for what we bought it for.
