I bought a WD Easystore portable external hd a couple years back but i didn't purchase a case for it, but when i was purchasing my 2nd WD Easystrore HD i noticed this case so i purchased 2 of these.... 1 for my old WD HD & 1 for my new WD HD & it is a perfect fit! I absolutely love it! I wish I'd have purchased this a long time ago! It adds that peace of mind that your HD is safe & secure and now i can easily throw my WD HD/Case in my computer bag & take it with me. Before i got this case, i never traveled or took my external HD out of my home office & i sure could of used it over the summer to back up my pics & videos from my phone & free up space on my phone. This case looks & feels great & very light weight. It has an inside pocket that's nice to store your plug & other little items like sd cards, adapters, etc.. I would definitely recommend purchasing this along side your portable external hd. I've included a few pics to give you an idea on size & look.

This is durable and protects my hard drive. I tuck the hard drive inside the mesh-pocket side. It fits perfectly, and I feel confident my hard drive is thoroughly protected by the case. There is room for the usb hard-drive too. I recommend.

Good protection for my backup hard drive. There’s a pocket for the storage of the USB cable and where closed it’s compact design supports safe transport of the hard drive.

Nice quality and perfect fit! I love this to keep my hard drive safe. I have thousands of irreplaceable photos on it and feel better storing it in this case, knowing it is protected, plus I can easily find it in the drawer.

The external grip is excellent. You're not likely to drop this case due to lack of texture. The build is soft, but firm. It is not likely to tear easily. One flat side has a but of cushion that will offer some protection in a drop, but don't take that as a scientific claim. The opposite side does not have that padding, but does have an internal elastic pouch that should absorb some impact. The internal pouch covers more than half of the area of that space, and is plenty to hold a short connection cable. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I bought one, and was satisfied enough to but another for a second portable hard drive.

I purchased this to go with the 2 TB external drive I purchased. Very sturdy and protective case while still being very lightweight.

Good heavy duty case, drive fits nicely inside with cord.

Great to carry and protect SSD and memory drive also to carry other small items, bought 4 of them total. What can I say when I find something that works for me I'll stock up on it.

This is the second one I’ve purchased. It’s a great product to keep your external HD safe. I like the size & hard shell. The mesh pocket is great to put your cable in. Also has soft liner inside. Great price!

Perfect fit for my SSD and cables. i could fit another in here. very sturdy. Not sure why it came free with the big WD drive but i got use for it.

Got this keep my Passport safe when not in use. This great very sturdy. I feel this will help keep my Passport nice and safe.

Perfect case to protect my portable HDD. It’s walls are hard and flexible while still giving the protection needed.

One of the best portable hdd cases I've ever owned has a mesh pocket for cables flash drives etc. Slim design fits in your pocket it's a perfect fit for any occasion travel or leisure such a useful product.

I bought this because it kept popping up as a suggestion as I shopped for a T5 500GB SS Drive. It is good enough for general protection, but, there is no strap to hold the drive tightly to the case. I can put the drive into the netting and leave the cords out. I have to smoosh it a little more than I like to close it. Just not want I want though so taking it back.

I bought this to store and carry my portable Samsung SSD T7 drive. It's bigger than I needed but nice that I can also put a few thumb drives in there along with the cords for the SSD Drive. It has a small amount of padding but seems up to the task of protecting my new drive.
