I do wish they'd make them out of some substance that doesn't have such a strong odor. I had to let mine air out for a couple of weeks before using it.

Nice Case

The case is well made. It has padding all around, bi-directional zippers, and a mesh separator inside to hold the cable. This case is excellent protection for your portable external HD on the go. I highly recommend it for that usage - 10 bucks to protect your 100+ investment - you can't go wrong.

Nice case for portable hard drives

I use it for my WD Easystore hard drives. It is as shown on the site. one half netted compartment inside, perfect size for my drive. I put the wire in the other half. It would have been nice to have a strap on the other side to use for the drive so the netted side could retain the smaller loose items (cord & flash drives). I could reverse but prefer to have the hard drive secure inside of it. The zipper tabs are full sized and sturdy. Outside of case has a nice soft leather like feel to it.
