If you travel with a SSD hard drive or a normal hard drive this is a excellent holder well built and hard case

The case is snug around the portable hard drive + cable. Not much else fits which is a good thing to keep it nice and sturdy. I especially like the hard exterior to protect my data from physical damages.

Bought this case to carry around portable external hard drive. It's compact and keeps everything tidy. I also carry my portable power bank inside. There is enough room to carry both along with a USB cables or Lightning cables or both. Just make sure your external hard drive is not too bulky.

This bag does a great job keeping a device clean and safe, it is well padded. The size is good it fits in a small purse. There is a pocket for cords.

I bought this case to store and transport my Western Digital MyPassport portable USB3.0 hard drive. The main compartment is deep enough to fully contain the MyPassport completely surrounding it. The interior lining seems to protect the MyPassport’s piano black finish from scratching and marring. The shallow compartment has webbed netting that easily contains the USB3.0 connector cord that comes with the MyPassport. The two zipper pulls slide easily enough without snagging. The black exterior non logo finish is understated and doesn’t draw attention to itself. For the money it’s hard to beat given the straight forward requirements for a portable hard drive storage case.
