It constantly makes large or small ice and automatically shuts off indicating full or water needed. Perfect for gifts.

It's small size is perfect for our cabin. Plan accordingly because it takes some time to make enough ice for the family or a party. I have only used it twice. So far so good. Also you must remove ice and place in freezer or ice bucket or it melts fairly quickly!! Patience and planning it gets the job done! It only makes 8 or so cubes at a time.

It makes 9 cubes in 5 1/2 minutes and takes about 45-50 minutes for a full basket. I’ve made probably 6 full baskets already and I can still taste the chemicals, but hopefully that’ll go away soon. I’ll just keep running it through.

Huge cubes

The first one stopped working after 2 days of use. It must of been a dud because the 2nd one I have not had any problems with. Definitely purchase the extra warranty for this, other then that the ice comes out cold!

She likes how soft the ice is considering she cracked her tooth on the ice that came out of our refrigerator ice maker. It is small enough to fit upstairs so she doesn’t have to go back and forth downstairs to get ice. I just love that for her. Also, it takes minutes to get the ice so it is always some ice available. She just loves it. She says it makes her water “juicier.” Idk how that is possible but anyway, it works, it’s simple, and is well made for a countertop. Thanks Best Buy! Good job! And the drive up service was fast and easy too. Thx!

Otherwise it seems to be performing well and I finally had home made ice for my drink! Ps DON’T buy a Samsung high dollar fridge. Their ice makers are a piece of crap!

Ideal size cubes for drinks and your adding the water so you know what your consuming. The down side is that the ice needs to be put into the freezer or else it will melt.

We had a 50th birthday party and needed to make extra ice, it worked great. We had it on the bar, so they had fresh ice the whole time. Everyone that came to the party said they needed one of these. We loved the 2 sizes of ice, every 6 minutes, new ice!!

Terrible Product

I bought this product December 31st. Two weeks ago, I came home from work to find the ice backed up and the arm the helps move the ice into the ice holder broken. I thought perhaps it somehow slipped off. It did not, it was actually broken. I reached out to Insignia customer support and through multiple emails back and forth, they decided they were not going to fulfill the manufacturing warranty, which is one year. Do yourself a favor and do NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
