However my wife loves lots of small ice cubes like you get at chick-fil-a. This was the nearest thing i could find at a reasonable price. Well a few weeks in several beach and pool trips in and its a hit. Perfect for a house party too.

I've been happy with the efficiency on how it produces ice in a short amount of time! I would highly recommend this model. Also, the drain plug underneath the unit makes it easy to drain the remaining water after the ice cycle is complete.

It doesn't make a whole lot at once, but doesn't take too long to get about 2 cups full. Very compact and fits on the counter very nicely. Keep in mind that it is recommend not to have anything within about few inches of it (for ventilation). This could be a problem for some who have limited counter space.

It makes ice pretty quickly, bough the first 2-3 groups you should just dump back into water tank. It takes a few group of cubes to get fully shaped ones. Definitely do large size. These cubes melt faster. But the ice is a nice texture and machine does all the work.
