This is the best thing to have for the office. We can make ice coffee and the cubes are on perfect size. Eaay to maintain. Does not take too much space. Makes ice real fast. Works exactly as described.

Coutnertop friendly meaning it takes up the same amount of space as a keurig. It makes small or large ice nuggets in about 15 minutes or so. There is noise but no louder than if you had a refrigerator that makes ice, loudest part is when the ice drops.

This little machine is worth it, especially if found on sale. It's super easy to use - literally just pour water into it and it starts making ice in a never-ending cycle every 15 minutes. ...well; the cycle ends when it's out of water; but the ice will melt and the machine will continue converting it into ice. It's great when having people over; for example we celebrated a friends birthday at my house a couple of weeks ago, and we did not have to worry about the refrigerators ice maker running out of ice. A couple of friends were so amazed by how efficient the machine was and how affordable it was, that they asked if I could order one for them. The downside - the machine does not keep the ice cold, and it's meant for occasions where the ice will be used within an hour and someone needs to keep an eye on the machine to ensure it has water. It does last a while before needing water, and has an indicator. My little nephew had the brilliant idea of using juice in the machine instead of water - I didn't let him since it'll require some cleaning; but guess that's another use case if you want flavored ice. It's a small machine, so it could be great for bringing to others houses, church, and with a power generator (or source) even to family picnics, camping, etc.

I’ve been using this ice maker in my kitchen for a while, and it’s been a game-changer for keeping drinks cold without running to the store. It produces ice quickly, a fresh batch in about 8–10 minutes. The auto shut-off works as promised, and the compact size makes it easy to place on a counter or move around. The only downside is the noise during the freeze cycle. It’s not unbearable, but if you’re in a quiet apartment or want it running while you sleep, you’ll definitely hear it. Bottom line: Great for small households, bar setups, or RVs. Just expect some sound while it’s working.

The slim design fits well even in a small kitchen. The ice quality and production speed were impressive, and it operated fairly quietly without being too loud. The biggest downside for me was the lack of a self-cleaning function, which made it difficult to keep the machine clean. In my area, the water has a high mineral content, and without a cleaning feature, the buildup of limescale eventually affects the ice-making performance. If you live in a region with hard water, I recommend using filtered water and taking extra care to keep the machine clean. Overall, it’s still a cost-effective option and works well for an average household.

I’ve had this ice maker for about 3 months now and I love it! I have a refrigerator ice maker but with 5 people in the house we usually run out by the end of the day! I got this with really no high expectations however I was pleasantly surprised with how much I love it! Fits under my cupboard and hardly ever hear it running! 2 sizes of ice! Takes about 5-10 min at most to get your first batch and about 45-60 min before the bucket is full! Red light will come on when bucket is full and machine will stop working until you remove some ice or empty bucket! I usually empty my bucket into my refrigerator ice bucket! Comes with ice scoop too! Easy to clean with drain on bottom and then wipe dry! Most of the summer I’ve kept it running all day with no problems! I use my filtered refrigerator water (recommended)! Would definitely buy again!

This little icemaker's been working great for about six months now. It good on the counter doesn't take up too much space. This was to replace the refrigerator icemaker that stopped working after about a month so I had to invest in something new because the warranty on the refrigerator went out anyways this is a good little purchase we ended up buying another one for our motorhome.

Got my ice maker today. It works as stated. Very quite and you barley even here it dump the ice into the basket. It makes 9 pieces at a time and takes about 9-10 mins to freeze and drop them. Very convenient for those without an ice maker. Ice is formed into a bullet and you can choose to make small or large sizes.

Best bang for your buck. Produces ice very quickly. I thought about purchasing the more expensive brands, but I wanted to try this out first. I’m glad I did. For the price, it was definitely worth it. Pros: inexpensive, small and lightweight, 2 options for ice size Cons: small ice tray that you have to empty to produce more ice, bullet shaped ice cubes

This is a great little ice machine. Slim enough to keep on the counter and it doesn't get in the way. It is also quiet and the basket fills relatively quickly. Great bang for your buck!

I've had this machine for about a week now, and so far it works as advertised! Note: I got it much cheaper than the price listed when I'm posting this, so keep an eye out for it to go on sale if you aren't in a hurry and want better value. As it is this machine works very well and is easy to use. Unpacking is a snap: unwrap it, take all the packing tape off (careful with this one--some of the tape is hard to spot--there is one on the ice maker flap that I didn't see at first), clean it out with soap and water, rinse it, fill it with water and plug it in! It holds 8 cups of water at the fill line and can make a lot of ice from that. I bought this as the icemaker in my refrigerator has been a piece of junk since the day we bought it (seriously, the manufacturer is putting extra long warranties on their newest models since their icemakers have such a bad reputation). I was debating buying an entirely new fridge but that is a very expensive option. I spotted this and decided to give it a try and so far so good. It's very easy to set up--fill it with water and decide if you want 'small' or 'large' cubes and it will do the rest. It's not very loud so don't let the fan worry you--it's basically white noise. Every now and then when a batch of ice is done you'll hear the ice drop, but even that isn't very loud. I store the ice that's made in a container in my freezer for future use, so I can run it when it's convenient. It makes ice very fast, though, so if you were planning on using it for a party or gathering (whenever those are allowed again) it should be perfect--it even comes with a small scoop. If you don't move the ice to a freezer it will start melting right away and can cause the ice to stick together. The removable bin is small and easy to unload to empty. I can make enough ice to last my family of five for a week in just a few hours (the photo shows the amount of ice made in about 20 minutes) The machine will let you know if the bin is too full to keep going, or when the water reservoir is empty. Overall it's perfect for my needs. If you use a lot of ice or plan on doing a lot of entertaining you may want to go with a larger model.

The icemaker in our frig is broken, so we purchased the ice maker. We did not want to drop major coin on one unless we know if it would work for us, so we chose the Insignia model. It is very easy to use and it tells you if it needs water or if the ice tray is full with lights. Was surprised with how much ice is made for the amount of water you put in. Perfect size for my wife and I. If the house is quiet you will hear it running.

Absolutely love it t. Small profile and works great. Dog's can have crunchy water whenever they want. Produces ice quickly. Super convenient.

We never seemed to have enough ice! Our ice maker in the fridge would be empty half way thru the day so we were buying a bag or two of ice at the grocery several times a week. Finally decided to try a countertop ice maker and I'm so glad we did. This little unit really cranks out the ice! Noise level is pretty quiet and the mint color looks nice on the counter.

Small enough to sit on the counter and quiet enough to not be intrusive, this ice maker let's you choose between two sizes of cubes and is easy to monitor with lights indicating a full basket or water is needing to be added.

It works well and makes ice quickly. It's easy to fill and seems to be resistent to growing mold when stored with the lid open so it can dry out adequately. My only issue is that since the device isn't insulated, the ice starts melting and when it's put in the freezer, freezes into a big clump. It's easy enough to break apart though.
