This ice maker is great for under $100. It makes the ice very fast and straightforward on how to use it. I have had it for two weeks now and I love it. This is not for you if you need a large amount of ice.

Works very well, quieter than our last one. The scoop should be made not as wide. Wind up dropping ice with every scoop . Saved our old thinner one.

My standing fridge has mold (assumed from the taste and expert opinions) in the lines on the inside of the machine. It would practically be cheaper to buy a new fridge than have the lines replaced. I decided to get this ice maker rather than going out to buy bags of ice all the time. I have had it for awhile and I am very pleased with it. It does not make a whole lot of ice in the basket, but it does not take long at all for the basket to fill back up. It is also small enough that it does not take up much room at all on the countertop.

You just have to decide how much ice you need. It’s the users are 1-2 people only will be perfect as it’s small and can be placed anywhere. If there’s more than 2 people using the ice maker consider buying a model that hold more ice

I’m really happy with this purchase! It works quickly and efficiently, which is exactly what I was looking for. Cheap and easy functioning, however, it doesn't get 5 stars due to the fact it doesn't keep the Ice cool enough for long periods. (Ice will start to melt after 30 min, AFTER it turns off or is full of ice. During the production of ice it will keep the other ice from melting) You need a separate container for the ice if you wish to preserve it. Pretty fast, fresh ice within 10mins of turning on the machine and adding water. FYI, make sure to follow directions and cycle machine a couple times as it cleans out the residue left over from manufacturing. I actually never thought about that but as soon as I read manual I thought "duh". And the fact more and more of our products are produced overseas with often no standards to oversite you never know what chemicals or cleaners where used in the production of this produce. It has two ice sizes as a FYI, (Small & Large) that is not clearly outlined in the description or on the box.

This little device is great. Our refrigerator/freezer stopped working and we needed something that made ice since our other refrigerator was completely filled with items from the broken one ,freezer full with no room for an ice tray. The new unit wasn't expected for a month, so i purchased the Insignia Ice maker. We love it. It has kept us in ice . Makes ice very quickly. It is quiet and very efficient. Not sorry we bought it. We will be using it even when our unit comes in because it creates soft ice,

Nice product and a very good price. This is the third ice maker I’ve purchased. Use one at home, and two in my campers. Very well made and easy to use. Would purchase again and recommend to anyone seeking a similar product. Warmer weather is coming and you won’t want to be out of ice !

Its been a good ice maker, got it cause my fridged ice maker broke. I make ice in this and fill the freezer with it. keep it clean and its great.

I read reviews from other people but decided to try for myself. Those reviews were less than complimentary. No problem! I love this product! It makes my ice fast and easy! Little noise - just enough so I know it’s working! Hands down an awesome purchase and cheers!!!

Produces ice quickly, however the ice melts very quickly in the bin. Nice and compact. Easy to set up.

Very easy to use. Works with tap water. “Nuggets” are a perfect size to pop in your mouth. It only makes about 8 nuggets at a time, so it does take awhile to make a significant amount, but I find that that the “nuggets “ do not stick together if refrigerated as they are made, so you can make a large quantity to use over a couple of days if you like.

Ice maker was a Christmas gift, and it turned out to be a great choice. No issues at all – it does exactly what it promised. It's compact and fits perfectly on our counter. Ice production is speedy, and I love choosing different cube sizes. The auto shut-off works like a charm, and the indicator lights are handy. This was an great gift for my son's new home.

Perfect ice maker to provide you constant ice in a decent time. This ice maker produces cylinder type nuggets that can be large or small. Ice maker can run close to an hour on a full water tank before it maxes the ice and auto stops.

I run this thing about 10 hours a day and it continually makes great ice. Not a single problem and fits conveniently on the counter. it requires drinking water so we have a brita filter that we use to make the ice, so its pretty much free. Great for summers in florida

We love it so far! I brought it for my hubby for Fathers Day because he loves chewing ice, but it has been awesome for the whole family since our ice machine has not been working. It is very easy to operate and makes large or smaller chunks of ice. Just make sure to dump the ice cubes in your freezer when it is full because the machine does not keep the cubes frozen.
