I love this ice machine. It is very quiet. It makes just enough ice for me. It doesn't take up very much counter space

Best decision to buying this Ice Maker. I can make a lot of ice in no time and it takes less than a couple minutes to have a full bag of ice and not have to wait minutes doing the old fashion way of waiting in the freezer.

This ice maker machine is exactly what I wanted for making ice for cocktails. It's easy to use and makes both small and medium ice cubes. Just be careful to make sure that you take off all of the tape before using. I missed two pieces holding the part (sweeping grate) that pushes the ice into the basket and realized when it made a not so happy noise. Luckily it didn't break and it was good to go once I removed the tape. Definitely recommend!

This is the most honest review I can make. I’ve now had this unit for six months and I didn’t realize how much ice my family consumed. Ideally it’s enough ice for three large glasses at a time. It makes ice very quickly every eight minutes. The biggest problem and the reason why I have to give it four stars – Because I can’t give a 4 1/2- is that the ice slides at an angle into the holding tray. I’m not sure that there’s an engineering solution here due to the water tank being underneath the ice tray. Because the ice slides at an angle you only get enough for two glasses of ice unless you systematically shuffle the ice around two or three times a day with your scooper. The laser sensor is often blocked by the ice sliding into that tray. If you have a family of 4 to 6 people that consume a large amount of ice….I would probably get a larger unit that has a larger ice hopper compartment. I might actually go and get a larger unit myself and my kids will probably love me if I hand them this unit. The ice -in the large form -is the size of a thimble. Easy to suck on won’t damage your teeth and is a little soft. The unit is not refrigerated so the ice continually melts inside the tray back into the water tank. For the $89 -$100 range this piece of equipment is actually well done. If your ice maker in your refrigerator/freezer breaks and you don’t wanna go all out fixing it and you just want to move ice from this ice maker into the hopper of your freezer… This unit makes ice has a removable ice basket where you can transport that ice over to your freezer. I’ve been wanting an ice maker for so long!! I purchased online & did curbside pick-up. The service was excellent! No contact at all! I brought it home unboxed it and set it up! Very easy btw! Cleaned out the necessary trays and maker itself. Added filtered water to clean the water system. Threw out the first bucket of ice then started with a fresh set after! Once you add water after a few minutes you’ll have ice in the bucket! I love the little ring ice! It’s so cute! I will definitely purchase again!

Works great. Ice lasts a decent amount of time on the large setting. My husband complains that it's loud and scares him. But that's because of it dropping into the basket, as he can sleep through the sound with no problems.

Does an excellent job making ice. Just be patient. Always use bottled water as the instructions say. I would never even think of using our disgusting city water in this thing. I saw some reviewer's complaints about mold build-up in the back of the unit on and behind the vertical metal bars that push the ice out. Never had a problem with mold yet (great to know about this however - thank you reviewers). Anyhow my wife has small fingers, so we put a small amount of dish soap on a damp cleaning rag and wipe down the fingers and behind them, then using a wet cloth to rinse and remove until there's no more soap. I guess if you constantly use this to make ice, the condensation buildup on these vertical bars and behind them could catch dirty air particles and cause mold. Also, I saw one person pose the question of how to prevent ice from clumping once you transfer to your freezer. The ice does start to immediately melt as the tray fills up and you will get a large clump of ice once it refreezes. Just agitate the ice either with your fingers or a wooden spoon every minute or so. This works for me.

Nice compact ice maker. It's not loud, relatively quiet. Cute little cubes, I am pleased with my purchase.

This item preformed better than expected. I am using the ice produced to provide cold compresses after shoulder surgery. It produces a constant stream of ice cubes, as long as you keep the unit filled with water. Ice cubes are dumped every 6 to 7 minutes until the ice basket fills. Cubes can block the electronic eye and stop the production of ice but pushing them away starts the machine again. This only happens when the basket is almost filled to capacity. The unit will operate for many hours on one water fill up but the ice tray will have to be emptied a number of times before the water reservoir drains completely and needs to be refilled. My unit is used indoors and not in direct sunlight. I can see how external temperature can have a big impact on ice production. Once the ice is dumped into the ice basket, it is subjected to the ambient temperature and can start to melt. The melted ice drains into the reservoir and gets reused again to make ice. I purchased this on 07 OCT 22 and so far am very pleased with it. So pleased that I filled out this requested review that I normal don't do. Check back in about 6 to 9 months. If it's still preforming then, like it is now, I'll add to this review. And if it's not, I'll definitely add to this review.

really pleased with this portable icemaker with auto shut-off. It fits in my small space on the counter of the kitchen with the vent facing out to open areas. I usually use the smaller size cubes as they fit in my carry container so I have ice cold water when I travel. Thank you Best Buy Customer Service for helping me choose the size that was right for my space.

I bought this when my fridge ice maker went bad. It works fast and is quiet. The white and silver weren't available at the time I ordered so I went with the mint and the color is beautiful. I don't even know it is running except when I hear the ice drop. No more running to the store for ice. I'm very happy with this purchase so far.

I love this! It makes ice fast and doesn't take up much counter space. I bought my mom one and she loves it just as much as I do.

This ice maker makes ice pretty quickly. Once I properly cleaned it according to instructions before use, we got started making ice. A half a gallon of water made enough ice to store in the freezer and last at least 3 days depending on how much ice is used by the kids.

Purchased this to help make ice during all of the holiday get togethers. It’s easy to clean initially, and then straight forward to use. Plug in, add water, and you’re on your way. Makes ice fairly quickly. I’m a fan of the purchase.

I broke my regular ice tray that you fill with water and bend to get the ice out. I immediately purchased this. It takes up little counterspace and makes ice quickly. Its easy to clean but can get moldy easily if you don't clean regularly.
