It is quiet while running. There were two negatives. One - it doesn’t keep the ice cold. You need to scoop it out and place in the freezer. Two - there was a short in the power cord after the third day of using it. Best Buy’s customer service was great. While the store did not have an additional one in stock to exchange, they are sending one to my home. Cannot wait to get it next week.

It's fast, it makes a lot of ice at one time and it's quiet. I always have ice when I want it, now. Bonus: my cats love it, too. They sit staring at it, waiting for it to quietly gurgle or the little sound it makes as it dumps ice into the hopper. Win-win, all around!

I have very limited space on my kitchen counter and this unit does not take up as much space as other ice makers do but still makes a lot of ice. It is a very nice unit for the price as well.

It makes 9 large cubes every 7-8 minutes. I don't know how many small cubes it makes because we haven't used that size yet. We never lack for ice anymore especially during this hot California summer! Its pretty compact. We have it on our kitchen counter and enjoy the convenience of having ice readily available. One of our best buys ever! We would dedinitely recomment this product.

I think this purchase was a smart choice for my needs Makes ice rather quickly. My wife and i were pleasantly surprised. With respect to how quick it produces ice amd the overall ease of operations.

Don’t expect it to produce enough ice for a large group of people, since it takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour for it to fill the ice tray holder, but it works well for a small family. The auto stop feature is nice, simply fill with water and once the ice tray is filled it will shut off and if left on/unattended the melted ice will be recycled to produce new ice. I personally make the ice then store it in the freezer (in a larger container), then repeat, that way there is plenty of ice and I’m not rushing to make a bunch of ice all at one time.

I let mine run continually and just get ice out of it when needed. I use the large ice setting and it makes about 10 or so pieces at a time. I have to add water about every two days with just me using it. Quiet running.

Its very easy to use, gets a small amount of in ten minutes. In one hour fills the 2lb basket. It will make about 4lbs of ice before you have to fill up the water reservoir. Easy to use, looks nice. Great machine for the price.
