It works as advertised. Very nice addition for the rv. Ideal size cubes for drinks and your adding the water so you know what your consuming. The down side is that the ice needs to be put into the freezer or else it will melt.

I love this ice maker. I make margaritas and mixed drinks for 2 and it keeps up with our thirst. No issues since purchase

Great little machine. I am chewing on ice a lot and our refrigerator icemaker could not keep up. Now we have a water softener and I also use the filtered water from the refrigerator to make the ice nuggets from this machine which are super soft. It runs as long as I’m home and not sleeping. Only comment I wish when the bin was full that it would beep so I know to get up and dump it it gives you a red light that’s it. Note that this is not a freezer so ice does start to melt while sitting in the bin. Using the small cube size (shown) it takes 5 min to make the first set of nuggets and 1hour to fill the bin. But that’s fm being off all night. You cannot change the speed. Lol - Note fm my photo it will need to vent on the right.

Works great We are a family of ice eaters and we go through so much ice that our typical freezer does not produce enough so we got this and we have not had any problems it’s been wonderful It’s been over a year no problems at all great product totally recommend

We love this ice maker!! We had a 50th birthday party and needed to make extra ice, it worked great. We had it on the bar, so they had fresh ice the whole time. Everyone that came to the party said they needed one of these. We loved the 2 sizes of ice, every 6 minutes, new ice!!

Amazing countertop ice maker. First time I saw one was at a friend’s BBQ. Use this at the lake house. No longer have to buy bags of ice. I’ve is made in a reasonable amount of time. Always make extra and put in freezer bags in the freezer. There is always ice waiting when arriving at the lake.

Ice out quickly and quietly. Easy use and easy clean.

This is a difficult review to right. Why? Because this stand alone icemaker does its job adequately, but your situation is important to the decision to buy one. If you have no access to a regular freezer with an icemaker and cannot add one into it, this is way better than having no ice maker at all. On the other hand, this price point will pay for enough store bought ice to build a snow man, his family, and some nose carrots too! It's a wonderfully engineered machine that makes a few handfuls an hour in smaller or larger size. Then you must put them into cold storage or a bucket in the freezer, right? The created cubes for me turned out wet so that when you put them in the freezer, they stuck together forming a giant cluster around my ice ladle. Nothing that a small hammer can't fix! Know at a built-in icemaker creates dry cubes that don't stick because the cubes never see room temperature. So, I think the design here could be better. The condenser probably uses a lot of electricity too. In short, not what I had hoped, so I'm having the manufacturers icemaker added to my freezer this week and this one will go back. Fun technology experiment though!

Oh my goodness do I love this counter top ice maker. I purchased for my cabin as my refridgerator does not have an ice maker. I used bottle water and seriously it is the best ice. You have to remove the ice from the basket when it becomes full but it definitely is worth this minimal effort to have an ample supply of ice stocked in the freezer. I wish I had purchased this sooner and saved myself the trouble of using ice cube trays.

Recently bought a new Insignia bottom freezer refrigerator without an ice maker. Purchased this portable ice machine to give me an endless supply of ice. Within a few hours had a gallon bag full of ice to be stored in freezer. Relatively quiet. Super quick. Set it and go about your business. Like the removable bin to aid in bagging the ice and the drain hole which helps remove the excess water. Two cons - Small ice cube setting makes too small cubes in my opinion and the anppliance is heavy. All in all, a very functional and easy to use ice maker.

Very easy to use and makes ice fast. Less than 30 minute re-fill time and nicely sized cubes.
