Purchased it for our camping outings, but use it daily in our home. My grandchildren love the small crunch able size and make sure it's filled and producing ice most of the day. Fantastic product, easy enough for a 5 year old to use and worth every cent!

Produces enough ice to last you a while. No funny taste. So, easy to use. Kid friendly. Can easily let your child help adding the water. And scoop out the ice. It will let you know when the basket is full and when you need to add water. It does make a little noise.

I really like the bullet ice. It is larger than the ice at places like Chicfila but crunches the same. When the ice melts, it goes back to the reservoir which is a nice feature.

We looked at repair, then considered a portable ice maker. I was in Best Buy one day and this model was on sale - I talked to a sales Best Buy team member and asked if he knew about these. He advised his parents bought one & were very satisfied. This is a quality product, produces ice which we dump in our existing ice maker dispenser for the in door ice & water dispenser. Considerably less than repairing other ice maker, which will only break as most usually always do.

I bought it to supplement the ice maker in my refrigerator. It is convenient to use and easily produces 26 pounds of ice daily. The drain plug allows it to be easily drained and cleaned.

The ice is delicious and easy to chew. It works well if you don't have an ice maker in your fridge. However, the ice does melt faster in a water bottle than ice you get at the grocery story or in a fridge so be aware of that. The basket isn't that big so if you want to store ice you'll have to keep putting into a ziploc back and put it in your freezer. This is my second time buying one. My first one died out of nowhere at around the 1 year mark and I was devastated. I was going to buy another ice maker- but this is the best value one out at the moment so I got another. So far I've had this for 5-6 months so we'll see if it happens again.
