Very nice, it's very quiet and allows me to choose small or large ice cubes and drops about 6 every 6-10 minutes

This little baby does everything that it claims to do. We have been using it practically everyday since the purchase date and we have had no issues. We tend to use filtered water to help cut down on possible mineral build up, clean it weekly, and that's about it. It produces a great bit of ice if you keep it plugged up and it recycles water throughout the day (so if you leave the ice to melt, it just continues to make cubes with the same water) if we're not using enough ice -- which is fine. It's really pushed us all to drink more water, even if that means just chomping on ice cubes lol. Great product, highly recommend it!

I'm in love with this ice maker! I had another one before from a different company, but it quickly wore out -- we love ice in pretty much everything. This one is even better -- more compact, the ice is clear and tastes great.

Makes ice quickly. Ice is a little too we so when placed in freezer it tends to clump together rather than stay as individual pieces.

Good for ice that you need without running a water line. (portable). Small and compact, can store on kitchen counter.

A little before my wife's first knee surgery, in February last year, we bought it to access more ice. Boy !, we have been super happy with the performance this machine has done. Lots of ice. 4 stars because a year and a half to stop working. Insignia offers a one-year warranty, exactly when the machine could start to get into trouble. It seems to me a year is just time, what is not good is that Insignia seems not to care about producing a machine with a solid time-use-life. We all know that it can be done, because in the past manufacturing was made to last a long time. We are at this very moment buying another ice machine with another brand, to try and see.

Works Great and as advertised!! Well worth the price

This ice maker always stops working in about 2-3 years. Something always goes wrong no matter how often you clean this out. This was my second one in 3 years or so. Both stopped working because the water sensor was off. Its okay for a while but eventually stops working

What a workhorse. We had household water problems requiring a Reverse Osmosis system that then rendered our failing refrigerator ice maker obsolete. We bought bag ice for a while but that was not a permanent solution. Enter this Insignia icemaker. Now after using it for a few months It is the perfect solution for our icemaking needs. It requires more effort than its previous counterpart but filling it with RO water and emptying its product into our freezers ice compartment is minimal.

This ice maker is convenient and very easy to use. It makes enough ice for our daily use.

I've had this for over a year now running 24x7 and it's still going strong. I didn't like the idea of it at first in that once it makes ice the ice starts melting and it makes more ice. But really it doesn't matter. It always keeps the ice bin full and it's good to fill up 4 8oz glasses to the top before running out of ice. It makes it so fast that before you need more ice there is more ice. For our family of four it really does the job well.

Excellent ice dispenser, always ready when need some ice on the go. You need to keep it clean and use bottled water to refil it, but has been a life saver for me.

This is very easy to use and makes 2 different size ice pieces. The auto shut off is a great safety feature. It is very convenient for making extra ice for parties and when we go camping.
