Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this same portable icemaker, I had it for close to 2 years, but decided to get this same one because it does make ice well enough for my family since my refrigerator ice maker had a leak where the water circulates to make the ice. I do place the ice cubes in a zip lock bag in the freezer then break it down and pour them in my refrigerator freezer ice tray. Ice makers do not last very long but it is better than spending hundreds of dollars just to replace the ice maker in my refrigerator.

Ice is always available. If you don't use all the ice at once it stays in the ice maker for more than 24 hr. It was a great price as d works well.

Add water and you're off and running. Makes a lot of ice pretty quickly. Buying it on sale didn't hurt either. Got mine for about 80 bucks.

Made first 10lb bag of ice first day. Going to buy another one for camper. Money well spent 5 stars for me
