Just as good as the name brand ice makers at half the price. Over time this will save you money from having to buy ice. With in a couple hours it makes a full basket of ice.

Makes good ice. Ice is easy to chew after a few seconds in my mouth. Relatively quiet. Mechanism kicks out the ice as expected. Does not overheat. Simple to operate.

I had eyed this product for a long time being very skeptical. I finally decided to take the plunge when my current refrigerator's ice maker bit the dust and the repair bill would have been over $300. After getting it home and running through a few cycles to break it in I have been more than impressed. i have been using only pre bottled spring water and this unit performs as advertised. it will actually make ice in a little as 7-10 minutes and fill up the basket in a little over a half an hour. The fact that it is portable makes it an even bigger bargain. If you have been sitting on the fence like I was don't wait any longer it is worth every penny.

Makes enough ice for one drink fairly quick. I let it run and put the ice cubes in the freezer. It is an ice maker not a freezer. If the ice cubes are not taken out they will melt and just recycle into the water reservoir and it’ll continue making ice.

My daughters' ice maker went out on her freezer and the coast of the repair almost a thousand dollars. this was far less and works great it also cuts down on the trips to the gas station.
