This portable one helps keep us in cold drinks every day. It makes each batch in about 9 minutes. The basket fills up in about an hour. You need to empty the basket when it is full so it doesn't melt. We like to pour the basket right into our cups as it is drippy and if we put it in the freezer bin, it freezes stuck together. It is easy to break it apart when that happens. We really like the shape of the ice cubes!

Needed ice but can't hook up an ice maker, it's just not possible at this time. Love ice and as long long as you are on top of putting it in the freezer, it's great. Took some one else's advice and keep some ice in the water. I did this last night and some ice is still in the reserve this AM!!! This seems to help keep it colder. Usually have it set for large ice, so not totally sure how fast the small ones melt. The ice does seem to clump together, but it just makes me use more ice.

It was priced well and is extremely convenient. We have an ice machine in the employee break room, but you never know for sure if it is going to have ice when you need it. I no longer have to worry with this ice maker.

I’ve been using ice trays for years and hand a splurge night and bought this. We use it every day now!! I put the ice in drinks, the kids eat the ice like it’s a snack plus use to cool down food. The smaller size versus an ice tray is nice. When I have extra I put in the freezer tray or in a bag to use later for a cooler. It does freeze the ice into one big clump this way but with a couple bangs they loosen up. Already have bought a second for a family member who liked mine.

I live in Dallas Texas and the water is not exactly stellar and ice cubes from fridge taste funny. This ice maker I fill with bottled water and it makes ice quick and continuously. Great machine!! You it everyday for my alcoholic drinks.

And this ice maker works even better than the one that came in my fridge (which just refuses to work after two years and three repairs)! I turn this ice maker on once a week for about two hours and it provides enough ice for two people for the entire week! If I’m entertaining I just keep it running throughout and we never have to worry about ice, granted I only ever have about eight to ten people at once but no more buying bags of ice for dinner parties so all good!

At first I had no issues, but not even two months in, it’s always saying to add water, even with it filled to the max line. A power cycle will fix that issue, but sometimes you have to do it multiple times. The smallest piece of melting ice blocks the sensor, so I never have ice in the morning when I need it the most. Customer support is 0 help, and I am past the 30 day return. A lovely $100 paperweight now :(
