They make good quality items, This one caught my eye simply because of the size and volume it puts out.Does not need very much water to make alot of ice.Bought this on 7-13-2020,Have not had any problems Also at a very good price at Best Buy. I have purchased several things from Best Buy and have not been disappointed!!!

Many reviews of these ice makers complain that the ice sticks together when put in the freezer for storage. Regardless of the machine you buy, they all do this. I store first in a gallon freezer bag, break up the ice with a rubber hammer, and then put in the freezer's ice storage bin. I make a week's worth at a time and the ice is great. Also, the ice will make faster if the water is chilled before placing in the machine. Good little ice maker.

Great Little Ice Maker

Of course they're not as big as standard cubes, but this is ok since the machine doesn't know what cup/glass you use. Also, make sure you buy a protection plan with it. These things are finicky and you could one get that takes hours to produce even a little ice. Mine was good and produced enough in minutes. An all around A+.

It’s quiet, efficient, makes great ice and is really low maintenance. We got this in between refrigerators to keep our ice stocked. It worked beautifully, and it kept us sane. We’ll definitely use again and again, especially for larger gatherings and camping.

It makes ice quickly. The machine is noisy, but its to be expected for such small unit. The main con i have with this machine is that i clean it every two weeks and it becomes filthy in just a week. I use bottled water so the water is clean. I’ve used distilled vinegar to clean it but its a pain to clean the unit since you can barely reach the areas with a tooth brush. Also there is no self cleaning feature like most ice makers so this is a huge con.

I live in a condo that does not have a water line to my fridge so I have been buying bagged ice for about 3 years now. Finally broke down and bought this and I am impressed. Only thing I wish it had was a filter so it would filter tap water, luckily I have good tap water where I live though. Also, I've found that its best to let some of the ice batches fall in and chill the water in the reservoir. The ice comes out a lot bigger that way and keeps the inside cooler. 100% recommend this unit!
