Definitely recommend this kit if you plan on traveling for a while and intend to play on your Nintendo Switch. The cord can plug into any USB output, which let me charge my Switch via Battery pack. This was an impulse buy before a road trip and was so worth the price as it was on sale when I bought it.

Great product for the go. very usefull for charging yur switch

Used this both in the car and at home. Keep in mind: if the actual cable breaks (not the wall adapter or car adapter), you can just use any USB-C connector. But, I needed the adapters also. The switch draws a lot of amps, and you don't want to risk getting the wrong adapter. You can save some money over the normal switch adapter, and get both car and home. Plus, the switch adapters are always sold out in store where we are. Working great so far - time will tell.

This power Pack simply works. I do wonder why Insignia marketed it for the Nintendo since it works with all of my USB-C devices, including my phone, headset, tablet and even prolong my 2-1 laptop's battery life while in use. I see that some people have had some issues in using this with the Nintendo dock. This charger kit is not intended for that purpose as the wattage to power-up the dock is much higher, so it is to be used on the Switch in portable mode only. I also saw that some folks complain that it does not charge while playing. Thankfully this hasn't been the case for me. As far as the car charger, it has worked well. It has not had any connection or plug issues and stays well put. I have had issues with other car chargers where the "head" pops out or the "wings" lose their extension and keeping it on the lighter becomes a problem. One big plus is the long 6.5 ft. cord. I can place the device I am charging away from the outlet (like on a nightstand), play the Switch on the couch or bed, or have someone in the backseat of the car use the device while plugged in. I just hope that the construction holds up as it can seem that it is a bit cheap -especially the car charger. However, I think the price is reasonable for the versatility and functionality you get.

I bought this power pack because I needed to be able to charge my Switch while playing in tabletop mode because I don't always have access to a TV. It's does a great job at keeping my switch charged while playing at low percentages. It even charges it beyond what's being used by my games when plugged in. I have the original Nintendo Switch, and the heaviest game I play with this charger is Splatoon 2. I have not used this power pack outside my house or in my car yet. I don't use this charger to charge my Switch when not in use, but if someone did I believe it should fully charge the original Switch in a few hours.

stopped at Best Buy to pick up a charger for my grandsons game - everything that we needed for the flight to Colorado and the car once we got there. Charges quickly and maintained a steady amount of juice even when it was down to 10% and playing the game nonstop. The game never shut off. Price was less than I expected for the three units.

Works perfectly and the best deal around! I’ve already purchased 2 packs! Strong enough to keep the switch charging even while playing! I always play in tablet mode, so, I need a lot of portable power! Thanks Best Buy!

Just what you expect. Comes in handy... Must have.... Great choice.... Not to expensive but really is worth getting... Highly recommend getting this!!! Its helpful. Apple support is helpful and honest and patient but most of all Cherish and value thru customers satisfaction and are all professional for sure!!! Charger is powerful and really does work and keep things charged all day and actually for a few days only take 17-27mins to go from no battery to 100 % full charge that will last a few days!

Valie for money. Good long cable with high speed charger. Only down side is that it does not charge the dock.

I got this charger for my son, brought it on our way out of town. We went on a long road trip and it kept his Switch charged and had a quick charge as well. I love that the wire is so long and it comes with a car and a wall port, this mom forgot to pack the wall charger so it definitely saved me from having an upset kid.

I barely used it so far but it was a great deal at the time I purchased it, on a side not the cord was longer than I expected with a 6.5 reach great for vehicle use I have not used the wall outlet yet though. I feel safe knowing it is intended for the switch and not foreign counterfeit from god knows where that would damage the switch

My kids easily kill their switch playing it on the go. Having this charger in the car is amazing. Having the ability to charge in the car and house with that pack is great for travel. We can leave the charger that came with it at home and use the pack when on sports trips or vacation.

This switch entertains my son on long car rides and this power pack is nice because in case it wasn't fully charged prior to the trip we don't have to worry about not being able to use it half way through the trip. The cord is pretty long to so he can sit normal in his seat and still have it pulled in.

Bought for my sons Nintendo switch for the car. Car has both the wall outlet and car outlet so both work I guess. Cord is pretty long not the usual length which he always complains about, has to be long. Works great, it better for that price

Got the switch and it has excellent battery life but 14 hours in the car one direction non stop. This kit was perfect for the trip. I like both the ac and dc/cigarette lighter options since the car has both. USB to the power source is also great over the cigarette lighter option only.

For less money you get a brick, power cable, and car charger - instead of just a charger from Nintendo. It travels much better and gives you more for your money while doing the same! Highly recommended over Nintendo offering.0

Works perfectly without always having to put it in the dock and have to wait for it to charge to play again. Great product and good price.

I have only been using this product for a week, so I can’t speak on its long term durability. Overall it serves it purpose. I travel for work and like to bring my switch, but I don’t like to bring the entire cradle, cords, etc. This product allows me to leave everything at home except for the system. It seems to charge a little faster than the original charger. I haven’t timed it to check, but it seems faster. Please note: the included documentation states that you cannot use this product with the original dock. It may be a different voltage. I haven’t checked, but that may explain the faster charging. My only slight complaint is the stiffness of the cord. This is a travel charger. I have to stow it in my bag. I wish the cord was a little more flexible for quick packing. However, the stiff cord may be good for the long term durability.
