Works as expected! Love cranking out sweet auditory gems or slaying foes on my PC! The highs are high and the bass will kick you in the chest. I’d be impressed to see someone purchase a better sound setup for the price! BOOM!!!

Inexpensive, but pretty good sound quality. They are loud enough, and the subwoofer gives all the base I need. I like having the volume control on the wired remote...I can keep it handy even if the speakers are out to the sides.

These speakers are perfect for what you need them for. Easy to set up and operate. Great sound and can really crank out the decibels (if that's your thing) :)

The price on these may deter you fron purchasing these but if you just need them for basic music enjoyment or games get them. Adjustable bass, easy set up and great for smaller spaces.

I bought these speakers to amplify a television in our den that never seemed to be loud enough. The subwoofer and stereo speakers increased the fidelity and volume of the television. It turned out to be a great pairing. The ensemble also includes a separate volume control that can be placed conveniently away from the other components - that was a nice addition. It would probably work well for supplementing a laptop sound system but would be insufficient for higher fidelity electronics like mp3 players.

I purchased the Logitech speakers without even hearing them based on reviews on your website as well as Amazon. Got the speakers and then went for a walk around the store and saw these Insignia to the right side of the Logitech. Tested the Logitech, sounded good and then the Insignia, wow what a difference: Excellent bass, well defined trebles, nice looking speakers, and other features like the Auxilliary and bass controls (none of them available on the Logitech). For $5 dollars more you get real sound from the Insignia. At home they sound even better.

This is a tremendous product. It is very compact but has incredible sound. It's a great buy considering the low cost. The bass is very powerful and the sound clarity in the upper frequencies are very clear.

I was looking for something improve the presentation of my high school history presentation when showing videos and movies every once and awhile. I went to several different stores and couldn't find a good system for a decent price until I saw this one at Best Buy. It has been almost two years since I bought it and it is still working awesome! I have a movie club after school and you can hear the movies I show on half of the floor I am on. I have even alarmed off other teachers near me from time to time because of the powerful subwoofer this thing has. Even if it went out tomorrow, I would still purchase another once since it has been such a great buy. However, I still think I will have another couple of years left with it before I have to say goodbye.

It's a good speaker system, using these for my PC gaming works great in small places. Good beefy subwoofer sounds volume switch is nice also. Still works great after 1 year.

I bought these for my home office. Was pleasently surprised by the amount of bass it takes. I love the bass adjust gives sound a richer sound. The also are pretty loud for their sixe.

The sound from the speakers is nice. The bass is deep. Levels are easy to adjust. The problem is the speakers are top heavy and fall over easily. Not much of a bump and down they go.

For $40 I didn't expect the Bass to be so responsive! Pow! The side speakers are a nice size and nice looking. My favorite thing has to be the "control puck"...its a round "Puck-sized" controller, this plugs into your computer with one cable and the other cable goes to the subwoofer (The satellite side speakers plug into the subwoofer). The controller has a cool blue LED ring light on top (puck is silver/grey), the top ring turns for volume control, has a side dial for Bass adjustment, an on/off switch...and my "favorite"....since it can sit on your desktop, it also has headphone and Aux input jacks, so no more reaching down under your desk to plug in headphones! Love this thing!

They have a great sound and the sub provides much more bass than I expected. Was loud and clear enough for all to hear at my party all through my house.

Bought these to play Pandora through my laptop in my office. For the money these are quite good. I like the turning volume button because I can put it in a convenient location on my desk to turn the volume down when calls come in. If I had anything negative to say it would be that the 2 speakers are part of one connection to the base. I was unable to run the cords through the cutouts in my desk to hide them. I made it work but I don't like the cords on top of my desk. But that isn't a deal-breaker so I would buy again.

I didn't want to spend a lot on speakers because I don't listen to music or watch movies on my desktop, and I am not a Gamer. This set of Insignia speakers with Sub are great for my needs and really do sound pretty good! The bass has a little distortion/vibration if you crank it up as far as it goes, ( I did try a couple of CD's just to check it out), but at a good listening level, it really has pretty good, balanced output. I don't think you can do any better for the price.

its makes an impressive sound I really like the base and the speakers can spread pretty far out perfect for an L- shaped computer desk, oh and quality for an in house brand is surprising because I bought an open box version and knocked them off my desk a few times and no problem at all, Caution they put out a loud sound but if pushed to far like sound all the way up both on the knob(which has a cool circular blue LED effect) and the computer will create a fuzzy high pitch noise that will hurt your dogs ears, learned that the hard way, still cant hear the high pitch notes to MJ songs :(

I went in ready to spend a couple hundred bucks on a set of computer speakers. Thankfully my local store had some hooked up to demo. I played these just as a formality and was surprised at the sound quality. I don't play games or watch movies on my pc, I just use them for music when doing things around the house. I would definitely buy them again. Great product for the price!

my wife wanted more sound from her computer system, so i thought I would just get her a cheap sound system. I could not believe the quality of sound coming from these speakers. I have logitech speakers with bass that cost twice as much and as the Insignias and only has half the quality of the Insignias. Get them now because I believe that when people find out how good they are the price may really jump. I really like the bass volume control and its seperate from the main volume control.

Much louder than expected. Subwoofer is great but small speakers fall over easily. Overall great for the price.

These little speakers sound great for their size. Was at Best Buy trying out the displays looking for an in expensive pair of decent sounding speakers. When I heard these, I was amazed! Sounded way better than the logitech equivalent that was more expensive. I love the remote volume control with earphone jack, power switch and bass adjustment. Bass sounds great at moderate volume. Sound good enough to fill a small space without distortion.
