Thumbs don’t slide off at all. They have really helped my accuracy in shooter games. Only draw back, as I have a white controller , is where they clip onto the thin stick, the plastic is a bit too long, so they have left a little bit of a black mark on my controller. Not a major issue as I was able to clean them off pretty good.
