So, I was skeptical buying one of these. But, I needed something like this for travel for work. The picture quality is amazing at most distances and the sound is even better. I was using the sound for personal reasons for playing xbox and watching movies but this thing can't be beat at the price point. Sound quality is great for a small projector, could be better but I will not complain because of the pricing. Video quality is on par with most full size projectors, plays video games and movies like a normal size projector would. Definitely recommend.

It was easy to use and set up right out the box. The size was the perfect fit. The projected picture onto my screen was high quality.

This projector doesn't give you crisp text like on a spread sheet, so I would use it for presentations, pictures, videos, etc.. I had to lower the resolution (one setting below 1024 x 768) of my computer to help make the text more legible on a spread sheet and even then it was still hard to read. The Brightness is okay, you don't need total darkness for the picture to be visible, but it isn't that bright either.

More than just "movie night" on the big screen. We use it for video games as well. Picture looks great. Portable as well.

Great product! I can plug in a DVD player, computer or phone and project it. We have projected on our garage door, kids bedroom wall, and even ceilings. You can plug in a portable speaker (like a JBL 3) and enhance the sound. I can not say enough how great this product is. Used it for birthday parties and all the kids loved it. It's like having your own movie theater!

This was the greates thing i ever bought and it lasted WAY longer than i had expected it to. Dear Best Buy and Insignia, PLEASE BRING THIS PRODUCT BACK! Excellent speakers, easily mounted on a tripod and a battery for the perfect portable experience. Bring these back!

I purchased for occasional use for outdoor movie night with my 5 year old grandson. Great picture image and the built in sound is really impressive. Great starter projector! Also great in the basement, needs to be dark for best image quality. I would recommend.

I bought it at a conference to display some stuff, and it was great that it has a battery because there was no access to power at my booth. I bought this one because it also has speakers and I think we might have some outdoor movie nights next summer.

Works really well in the dark. Isn't bright enough to work unless it's really dark out. It's pretty basic, but for the price, it's what you'd expect. Works great for watching a movie in the backyard after dark. We always hook up a speaker, as the speaker on the device is pretty quiet.
