Perfect... I purchased this for back yard movie nights. I couldn't be happier with this projector. Set up is simple. The speaker is just loud enough. If you want more, simply connect to an alternate Bluetooth speaker. It projects at 480P but still looks great on the 100" inflatable screen that I purchased with it. Used it twice this weekend so far and my kids (and the neighborhood kids) loved it. Now I can't wait to project football games on it!!! And with the Best Buy deal of the day, I was able to purchase both the projector and screen for $299.99. Worth every penny...

I bought this because of its reviews. I used it for a business presentation with excel sheets and the lights in the room had to be out and you still couldn’t clearly see the Resolution of the fine print.
The audio is great, but I just needed something better. If you need fine detail or type <16 point, this will not work. If you need clear picture with the room lights on...this will not work.
If you need a cheap projector with good sound, and have big shapes and a dark room...this is your machine....If not you need to double your budget.
That’s not really the fault of this unit though. I needed a full size truck and this is a nice compact station wagon.

This is a great example of "you get what you pay for". The image quality is subpar but the audio is pretty kick butt. My favorite thing about this is the internal battery allowing me to watch without a cord.

This is one of the best projectors I have used. It is chargeable and also has built in speakers. We would keep it plugged till right before our presentation and use it without a power chord plugged in so no one trips over the wire. It's perfect.

Had an event and needed something to project on a screen due to no power sources. Lasted for what it was listed to do for 2 hours of display time. Its small and easy to move around. Great build quality and sound is good but not great. For what its worth it gets the job done.

The tiny projector is awesome. Image can actually be much larger than stated in the description. The speaker is decent if you are sitting quietly but you will need to connect an amplified speaker if you subs kids running around. Perfect for what we needed to have fun in the yard.

I have purchased quite a few Insignia products recently and this was another great addition to those units. Purchased it on Deal of the Day and it does what I expected. Decent quality picture and audio and allowed me to connect my iPhone via lightning to HDMI adapter.

Works good for what it is..Haven't tested battery life yet.. I wish that it had more than just an HDMI jack.. Wish it also had USB.. My Moto Z Play phone is not HDMI compatible.. Hooked to laptop with no problems..

This was our first projector and it was easy to setup and the picture quality is great. We are going to use it for camping and outdoor movies and it serves the purpose well. The sound quality is pretty good as well, I don't think an external speaker is needed.

I am very happy with this projector! This projector provides amazing clarity on the screen. It is also small and lightweight, so it's perfect for travel. Because the bulb is LED, the projector does not get hot to touch; there is no need to let it cool down before packing it away. The projector also has a "Keystone" adjustment button, which eliminates distortion of the image when the device is tilted up. For the price, it offers great value!

You'll see many references to 1080P input on this device. In fact, it says 1080P all over the packaging. Not a single reference to the 480P output anywhere on the packaging. Insignia did this for a reason: to sell a super low-resolution projector and hope no one bothers to return it when they discover it renders movies basically unwatchable.
I so wanted this device to be better. It's nearly perfect in every other way aside from image quality. If the output were 1080P I would likely be writing a 5-star review, and buying more as gifts for others.
There is simply no place in this world today for a 480P device. The people of the smallest, poorest villages in the poorest of countries throughout the world deserve - and probably expect - higher resolution. Even for presentations I don't understand how anyone can use this, because letters on the screen look pixelated and terrible. Movie playback gives one a headache. The only thing it might be good for is slide shows of still images.
The built-in speaker is excellent. The battery allows for so much versatility. It's frustrating even to write this, because it's so close to being great.
I looked all over for a 1080P output version of this same thing and couldn't find one. If it existed, I'd buy it.

This little projector still works after a year. I brought a used one from best buy and it works great. The best inexpensive projector if you want to watch movies. I don't have a TV (takes too much space) and this helps.

So, it has to be incredibally dark to view this property, but we have had a lot of fun with it.vwe have had it outside a couple of times, once on the fence and once on the inflatable screen and both times it worked well. The most fun it's been though, is when we put it in my son's room on the wall and played black ops. Sound quality is surprisingly rich from such a small box, but does leave a bit to be desired...

Decided to get one of this to use it in our bedroom when we need it. Since we barely watch it, it takes much less space than an actual tv. It worked out great! Also great to take it when needed!

this is good for projecting indoors in a dark room. Not very powerful but then that is not what this is for. It works well if you just want to project movies indoors and in dark room.
