This is the second Insignia RCA to HDMI Converter I have purchased from Best Buy. The first one is being used to connect a VHS tape deck to my Samsung TV. This second one is being used to connect a Wii system to the TV since I have no RCA jacks on the TV itself. Both work flawlessly. The Insignia converter is a little more expensive than those found on Amazon; however I once tried one of those converters and it never worked properly. I would rather spend a little more to ensure I get a quality product that works properly.

Excellent piece of equipment and user friendly. I purchased this converter to transfer images and video from RCA cable to HDMI cable connection for my Nintendo Wii because my new television does not have RCA Jack's/ inputs. It was easy to setup and connect all cables and device. The picture quality and video game functionality are great.

Works perfectly for my Wii. My TV didn’t have RCA and the other adapter I tried didn’t work at all. This one works perfectly with sound and video coming through.

Thankful for RCA-to-HDMI converter to make my barely used Blu-ray player work with my new tv. It comes with a hdmi-to-hdmi cable too, all in a sturdy box.

I have a Samsung Crystal UHD tv, I am also a hardcore retro gamer. Using this converter I have found that my Wii and Dreamcast looking amazing on the tv, best upscaling I've seen from something that isn't specifically made for gaming. This is certainly as good as the picture gets when it is displayed on such a large screen and the device does a good job of making sure the picture is clear and sharp unlike cheaper converters. If you are looking for the best converter that is affordable this is the one!

We needed this to connect our Wii to our new TV and it worked perfectly. It connects quickly and effortlessly. The gentleman at Best Buy who helped us new exactly what we were talking about when we explained what we were looking for and went right to it.

This unit works, works nicely. easy to hook up a good picture.

It works on the viewsonic in my classroom. Does the device feel cheap in your hand? Yes, because its very light, but it does what its supposed to do. I use it with a dvd player.

Overall a great product. The reason I needed this was to connect my Wii to my TV because my TV only had an HDMI port. I have been using this for amount 2 weeks now and works perfectly.

I was so happy after buying this because my blue ray player is on its last breath and the dvd player that belonged to my Mom before she passed has many more years of use and this item was needed in order to benefit from the player. I'm well pleased, even though it was more expensive than I thought it would be.

Able to play my PS2 on my monitor. Just didn’t want to play it on the living room tv! provides different quality of picture, and it works, which all that matters to me.

Easy to install, works as advertised. Now my grandson can use the Wii on our Samsung QN55 tv. As expected, the picture quality is not as clear and bright compared to the new hdmi compatable game devices. This option was the most versatile and cost effective way to link old and new tech.

I got this because my smart TV was incompatible with certain games for my Japanese PSOne and I'm glad this was able to help everything and not suffer any delays with inputs. Colors are a bit darker but the video looks the same with no compromise. Although I must note I am using gold tipped av cords for the console so video quality might vary for everyone else. For me however, this was an excellent choice.

I’ve been looking for a converter to play retro consoles on my oLED Tv. This converter finally gave me the results I was looking for. No distortion, no signal issue. Simple to connect. It comes with it’s own power supply so there is no need to connect to USB power.

works great. didn’t have any issues at all w product other than it not including the hdmi cord but other than that it works well w my wii console

Now i can use of my old karaoke system that has been sitting in the cabinet since I changed TV in 2019.

I have used this a lot to test VCRs on my HDMI television for resale. Killer price and great video/audio quality!
