Very easy to set up and now I can play DVD's on mynew tv.

Connect old game consoles to 4K TV.

Good piece of equipment to have when connecting older/vintage devices to 4k smart TV (via component cables to HDMI input on 4k tv. Was able to connect my Playstation One and XBox to my Vizio 4k smart TV with no problem. There is also a switch on converter to upscale resolution from 720p to 1080p. The older video games get a small upgrade in video quality on the 4k tv.

Back in the saddle again!!

Luckily I still had another ac outlet available to hook up this converter ,and a hdmi input as well. It works well & wasn't unreasonable in price.

I am happy such connectors exist. You have to buy the connecting cords as well but the converter is a great item.

I purchased a turntable but unfortunately since Sonos connection streams over Wifi and the turntable was bluetooth, i needed a way to connect to the Sonos to play records. The work around: RCA to HDMI into TV input. Switch TV input to run audio from the Turntable through the TV to the Sonos. Unfortunately, this left me having to look at a "No Picture" Blue Screen everytime i wanted to play a record, so i ended up returning the turntable and replacing it with a Sonos-ready one. I still have this insignia converter though, its velcro'd to the back of the TV just in case I need it in the future.

Convert Cables to HDMI

I have an old VHS/DVD player and I was able to hook it up to this device then plug it into HDMI on my TV. Now I can watch all my VHS and DVD without my TV clicking itself off. The picture is even clear.

It works like a champ. I hate that I’ve got another item to plug into a power outlet, but that’s just me and shouldn’t take away from the abilities of this piece of equipment.
