    I had purchased a simple RCA to HDMI cord previously and they didn't work at all. The Insignia electric RCA to HDMI box provided instant service to the HDMI connection on the new TV which allows me to watch VHS videos and also use an older DVD player that had RCA connection ports only.

    I wish I had known about this product a long time ago. I had some old vcr tapes with family memories on it and had no way to watch it due to modern technology changes to electric equipment. This converter let me watch the old memories. I would highly recommend this product.

    I bought this item for my Roku TV that didn’t have the RCA plug ins so I could play on my Wii. Works very well also gives you the option to switch between 720p and 1080p.

    I wanted something that would let me view my old videos and this item fit the bill. The new TV that I purchased was not setup for the old DVD/VHS combo so I purchased this adapter which works great. The gentleman that assisted me was a big help.

    I was so worried that my DVD recorder would not work with my new NEO OLED HD Smart TV. It did not until I bought this converter. IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!! Now I do not have to buy a new recorder or even pay for streaming things that I can just record over the air. A GREAT SOLUTION!

    Bought this for my In-Laws to hook up their old DVD player to their tv that didnt have RCA to it. It was easy to hook up and convert. Their DVD player was looking great and didnt need to buy a new one.

    This adapter works well to connect my VCR to my new TV. The TV has a coaxial connection put you can not select it as an input so I got this device to connect the RCA cable to the VCR and then to the converter. Connected the converter via the HDMI to the TV and now I can view my VCR tapes. The only thing is that the new TV picture is so good it makes the VCR taped quality look really poor, grainy, put it works, the sound is great.

    I was looking for an item to hook my new smart TV and my VCR. Yes I still have a VCR because I still have vcr tapes with all my family memories (one day I will convert them to dvd)… The sales person Carl recommended the converter product and I am so grateful. I can enjoy viewing my old tapes with my new OLED 4k sony 65" TV. Thanks Carl! the converter works so happy!!!

    We finally bought a new TV after 25 years. Our DVD and sound system didn’t have connectors for the new TV and vise versa. I was told by one that I’ll have to get a new system costing 100s. Then 1 person said to see if a patch is available. Sure enough Best Buy employee took me to exactly what I need to connect the new TV (hdmi) to the old sound system (RCA) plug. Cost of $49. Yay!!!!!

    Worth the money. New TV’s are wonderful but sometimes you want to watch an old DVD or a VHS tape but the machine has the wrong wires. Unfortunately, smart as the TV is, it just can’t use your old wires. This adapter isn’t the only thing you need though. Remember the HDMi cable!
