This one works perfectly and is just as good as a direct RCA connection. I wish I would have just gotten this one in the first place.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have some old videos in Hi8 I wanted to show on the newer model TV's but the ones I have are all looking for other connections than RCA so I got this device and it does a great job converting the signal to HDMI input to the TV. Make sure you get the right one as they make one that does the revers HDMI to RCA so read the box.
