Great for retro gamers

It allows you to play consoles as they were never intended- over an HDMI cable! The converter will upscale the input (don’t expect miracles) to allow for 16:9 aspect ratio and thus filling the screen instead of having a square in the middle, and black bars on the side.

When my family had gatherings I videoed them on VHS Tapes. Today's tvs are "smart" and do not have a port for the VCR to connect to. Fortunately, BestBuy sells RCA to HDMI Converters. Now, my family can journey back in time and reconnect with our loved ones. This is beneficial to this generation for many have never met many of our loved ones. They now have a way to see and hear the people we "old head" often refer to. THANK YOU, BESTBUY for keeping my family's memories alive!

Insignia Never Fails!

Bought 3 of these beauties for my old video game consoles and they work perfectly. Having the option to choose between 720p and 1080p is a nice touch I did not expect! If you're in need of an RCA converter, this is it. Worth every penny.

Great solution for hooking up our DVD/VCR player .

Finding this converter saved us from having to buy a new player (our old one plays DVDs and VCRs but they don't make many of those any more and the ones I could find were very expensive). This solved the problem and works great.

It’s sad the the new OlED TV’s don’t provide RCA connection for older devices - sad face. And worse, they have stopped ECA outputs to hookup to VCR (for recording purposes). You can probably buy HDMI - RCA ($40!!) and use it. Too bad the manufacturers seem to give VCR’s a push-off
