Great option for older equipment

RCA cables out of the CD player connect to the converter, then simply connect an HDMI cable from the converter to the input HDMI on the soundbar. Any hdmi input will work. Make sure you plug into an “input” and not an “output” Great product

This little device did the trick. We have a lot of VHS tapes and didn't want to pitch them so this allows us to play them through our new TV.

Went to Best Buy and told them about my problem. They immediately showed me this connector. It works perfectly !!

Great For Older Video Equipment

I use a 5.1 receiver to switch between HDMI inputs since it doesn't do composite video, I picked up this little gadget to make the connection. Understand, there isn't any way to get real HD quality video from a VHS tape but this does as good a job as anything else will.

It works! 480p looks a bit blurry compared to HD, but colors and scaling look correct, so no complaints there. It is a little annoying that it requires its own separate power source.

Very easy to use. The conversion is pretty good, the picture is slightly darker than it normally would be so all I had to do was adjust the picture on the TV itself and it came out great.
