Could not connect as newer TV's do not have RCA connections. Needed to get a RCA to HDMI converter and it works like a dream!!! We have had more fun playing competitively on our Wii than we did when we first got it!!

This converter made it easy to set up and enjoy the memories I had recorded on my movie camera. Now I can share holidays, births. vacations and entertainments from my past with family and friends.

Then I put it through a 3 port HDMI switch as I had several other devices and only 3 ports on the TV . The converter let me use an older game system so I wouldn't have to get rid of it . Gotta be able to play those classics !!

Insignia RCA to HDMI Converter

I have an older Panasonic DVD recorder that only uses RCA component connections. This RCA to HDMI Converter allows me to continue to utilize my DVD recorder.

It’s sad the the new OlED TV’s don’t provide RCA connection for older devices - sad face. And worse, they have stopped ECA outputs to hookup to VCR (for recording purposes). You can probably buy HDMI - RCA ($40!!) and use it. Too bad the manufacturers seem to give VCR’s a push-off

I’m so happy I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this. Since then we’ve been playing Tenkaichi 3 on the PS2 nonstop. It’s so crazy how I still had the muscle memory for the game even after 15 years. The only downside is that the picture is blurry on the title screen and chracter selection menu. The 720p and 1080p mode don’t make much of a difference on a 65 inch tv. Though everyone already knows this. But I still give it 5 stars since it’s unnoticeable on the important parts. The action!

Perfect for an old Wii

My new Denon receiver couldn’t pass-through video from the old RCA (yellow) plug on the Wii so this did the trick.

I use it to convert my DVD player woth the three white, yellow, amd red wires to hdmi so I can connect it to my tv. There is not any lag time when watching something from the DVD player on the tv.
