Works great for playing retro consoles on your HDTV. Been using it to play some old school games on my ps1, ps2, and Sega Saturn

This device works great for converting my old gaming console to be compatible with my new TV that only has hdmi inputs.

This converter allowed us to keep some of our analog systems rather than replace everything. The hook up was smooth and works well

i give this device a thumbs up . I recently upgraded my cable to xfinity one device . but I had no way to make my vcr work because it had no hdmi slot sothis devcice made it very simple to hook up . this was easy according to the instructions of best buy associates.

The converter is very easy to use and install. It’s a plug and play device.

Needed a way to connect an onscreen menu from an older receiver to a newer TV. This worked just fine. I can't comment on picture quality because as I say, it's just displaying a menu for me. A bit expensive compared to others online. I just didn't want to wait to order it.

So I recently moved and rediscovered my Nintendo Wii after years of not using it. Wanted to play it but newer TVs no longer have the component cables so I needed this adapter. This did just the trick. No lagging and quality is good for such an old system.

Looking to convert rca to hdmi for 2 old technologies - vcr and pioneer laser disk. I was able to use one with rca y cords. This is my long term strategy to remove reliance on rca inputs on my receiver and projector, though both support rca. I compared the rca and hdmi input and found no difference in visible videonresolution. I found slight video resolution difference in use of s-video input for laserdisc, so will keep that. Unfortunately this converter does not have s-video input to hdmi.

I am someone that doesn't like to throw out working devices. So this allows me to continue to use my older Wii and DVD player with my HDMI to use older Wii games and some legacy DVDs I have, Worth the price, to keep using my older stuff on my newer HDMI TVs.

Does the job very good! It helps when you have a old dvr with a new smart tv. You will not regret buying this item. It does work!

Well my mom refused to get rid of her vcr. Ya that old vcr that she found in the attic and refused to update her tv to a digital one. So this was my solution and boy did it work vcr worked and I am not sure but the tapes look better.

Needing to convert composite video to HDMI? Pick up this little gem and get the job done with as much clarity as you could expect from a composite video connection. Not often needed, but always a helpful product to have.
