It's not an upscaler so don't expect the picture to look any cleaner or clearer.

I highly recommend this item to anyone still wanting to view old tapes and dvd's.

This converter allows you to plug them into newer TVs with HDMI only. I donated my last 24” Cathode Ray Tube TV that still works as it took up too much room.

This converted to HDMI and the tv up conversion looks amazing. Hard to believe these videos were from over 20 years ago! So happy I found this.

My family loves the Wii for Just Dance and Mario Kart, but the split screen made everything look smaller. When we upgraded to a bigger, newer tv it did not have composite or component connections. This worked perfectly and gave a slight improvement to the graphics. Now we can play split screen Mario Kart without squinting to see our player.
