A Great Product!

I ran across this device at Best Buy - it is amazing! I was able to connect it to my camcorder and TV in less than 5 minutes. It worked perfectly and gave us many hours of joy watching these old videos on a big screen. This converter was worth every penny and I highly recommend it.

It converts an analog RCA connection to HDMI in either 720 or 1080. I am using it to connect my Wii to my Sony LED-LCD television with no issues. It is a little expensive, considering other online retailers have similar products for less, but Best Buy keeps them in stock locally and was able to do curb-side pick-up in under an hour. Call it a convenience fee, either way the converter does exactly what I wanted. Also, unlike many competitors, this product includes all the necessary power cables and adapters to use out of the box.

A RCA to HDMI converter that really works!

My newer TV's don't have RCA connections. The others either never worked, or the picture was lousy. This converter worked great! The picture looks great. I don't see any difference between the 720 & 1080 settings, but who cares, the image looks crisp. I'm sure there has to be some loss at the edges, but I couldn't tell. It's not a cheap unit, but I got it on sale which made it more palatable. Highly recommend.

Exceeded expectations, very pleasantly surprised

But I also needed to be able to connect a VHS player to the tv to watch old home videos. So I bought this since it could accomplish both tasks. I didn't want to pay $50 for it, so since it was on sale it was time to buy. I was apprehensive since I know that watching VHS on new tv's greatly reduces picture & sound quality. Much to my surprise, this converter not only worked without a glitch but the quality on my 70 inch screen is great! I am again able to enjoy old vhs home videos of past Christmases, Thanksgivings, kids, etc on my large screen and I am loving it. 11/18/2019

(picture quality of old systems is poor for newer TV resolution capabilities of course)
