I was hoping for somewhat better image quality, but there are intrinsic limits to what you can expect. VHS and (non-HD) DVDs are poor quality to begin with. If the image is a little fuzzy, it could might be from this composite/HDMI converter, but it could also arise from the 10yo player, the limited resolution of the media, or even bad upscaling in the brand-new TV.

It works very well.

So, it was returned. Not sure how it's constructed but $60 seems very high.

Don’t expect the graphics to get better, (it doesn’t work that way) but it is definitely more clear than an older tv.
