It was easy to connect. It works well to connect my cable box to my smart TV.

However, this device worked just fine with my old Sony vcr/dvd player. The picture on the tv improved with selection of the 1080 setting.

VHS to HDTV!

RCA - HDMI adapter

fixed the problem so we can still watch our VHS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we bought a new Denon receiver to go with the new TV unfortunately it wouldn't let us see the pictures on the VHS so we either had to upgrade to a much more expensive receiver or purchase the converter so far it works.
