I was hoping for somewhat better image quality, but there are intrinsic limits to what you can expect. VHS and (non-HD) DVDs are poor quality to begin with. If the image is a little fuzzy, it could might be from this composite/HDMI converter, but it could also arise from the 10yo player, the limited resolution of the media, or even bad upscaling in the brand-new TV.

It is easy to use and works great. The only issue is I don’t see any different on the screen resolution with the 720p/1080p switch.

The upgraded TV’s no longer have RCA inputs rendering the Mike useless. This converter easily solved the problem.
