It's hard to imagine in today's world a movie that's not available in DVD or streaming mode. However, there are some movies for which that is the case; movies available only on VCR format. The movie MASADA is such a movie. Because our TVs and and all TVs produced now are HDMI the only way we could watch this movie was the RCA to HDMI converter. The converter performs exactly as advertised. It's an excellent product.

Excellent product for consumers who have older DVD and VHS players a HDMI cable about 3-4 feet is all that is needed for connecting

This works, no doubt. We were used to an old television where we didn’t need this converter and this converter works beautifully now with our new Roku TV to be able to hook up our other devices. The rock of people told me the wrong converted it at Best Buy absolutely told me the correct one.

I am very happy with our converter as it allows us to utilize our Sony VHS player so that we can watch movies from our VHS tape collection.

Wow this device actually worked. Connect vhs player, laserdisc, or virtuallt anything rca and our hdmi to your modern tv. Itll "upscale" dvd or laserdisc to 1080p. Get a cleaner lookimg signal for vhs too. I highly recommend for retro enthusiasts.

Perfect for attaching an old vhs/dvd machine to my hdmi monitor. I found it a bit costly, but it worked without a hitch.

Works great with my old optimum cable box picture is beautiful on my new TV but having my cable box updated to 4K resolution. Don’t know if converter will be compatible with new cable box. would’ve gotten this converted for $15 instead of $30 if bought on Amazon.

This converter is very easy to hook up. I used it to be able to use an older DVD player with a new TV. I already had the existing RCA cables from the hook up to the old TV. Just needed to buy a HDMI cable to run from the converter to the new TV. You also need a power source nearby to plug in the converter. The picture quality was as better than before. Of course the new TV helped, but the converter didn't detract from the picture quality.

Simple to use and self explanatory. Anyone looking to play an old game system or use some tech using RCA cords. Definitely worth buying if you are looking for a converter. Makes playing my old game systems easy

I needed it last second for a vintage videogame party. I had ordered one online from another company who scammed me and best buy came in clutch and had one that actually worked and was exactly what i needed.

The Insignia RCA to HDMI Converter was just what I needed to add more devices to the TV. Now I can easily switch from the TV to Roku or an added device like the XBox, all with one remote. Excellent device for what you need.

This worked really well for my needs. I have a Wii I wanted to connect to a newer TV without RCA. I was easily able to connect the Wii to an HDMI thanks to this product.

Does the job. However, trying to go to the 1080 setting from a vcr does not work. At least I can get a picture.

Device works as advertised. Very easy to assemble and enhances my gaming system so that i was able to upgrade my old vhs player and stereo system. I saved a lot of money.

Initially the various connected devices kept turning off, which may have simply been a matter of switching the converter from 1080p to 720. Once I did that it worked fine. The image is pretty bad, but I don't know if that's a function of the device or the VHS source.
