I think this a "dirty little secret" of the electronics world.

The frustrating part of buying this item is that we needed to return it for a refund and was denied. This item had to be returned within 15 days. I felt this was unreasonable as we weren't able to try it immediately as it was for a family member. I could probably have bought it elsewhere and been able to return it.
