New updated receiver did not accept "RCA" signals, our Karaoke setup was suddenly useless. But, this converter made everything work. AND, the formerly weak and sometimes distorted Karaoke signal now works as if it really is HDMI. Please notice this is a powered converter. You will need a place to plug in the power pack.
