We needed a small clip on light for music stands in a darkened hall. Two of these clipped to the music stand worked quite well.

Got light to help see laptop keyboard in low light environments. Works well and able to secure to laptop and shine light on keyboard.

This clip-on reading lamp does everything it is supposed to: clips onto a book's cover and illuminates its pages; runs on a AAA battery; has 2 light settings, and an adjustable "neck" that lets you put the light just where you need it. Lightweight and packable for travel. Nothing fancy, just does the job and does it well. Oh, and it's inexpensive, too. Would make a good "stocking stuffer" at Christmas for your friends who like to read "real" books.

For the price of this item, I really liked it. I wish that the light wasn’t a blue LED. I prefer a soft warm light to read with. But it worked for exactly what I needed it for!

This reading light is good buy for the price I paid. Handy and bright enough for reading in dark.

As with a lot of Insignia products, this reading lamp is cheap and straightforward, which is exactly what makes it a good buy. I needed a basic reading light, and this has worked well for me so far. My only criticism is that the battery included with it wore out pretty quickly, so just make sure you have at least one extra AAA and you should be good. I've only used it on books, so I can't really speak to how it would work on other products
