A battery is a battery, but this is only $10. If you already have a play kit then this is perfect. Just get the battery and go. It fits the regular controller. It's a little snug when it comes to the elite. You have to kind of force the cover on

battery pack is perfect for my xbox 1 controler. enough time for me for what i use this for. at first i was not really sure for it didn't seem it would actually fit but after working with it, it went in and works as promised. u also can't beat the price.

These are a must have for any Xbox game controller. No more going through tons of AA batteries. With this battery pack you can recharge it easily with USB charging wire (while using), or any Xbox one wireless controller charging station.

My Microsoft-branded battery began to lose its ability to retain a charge a year into its life. Having no desire to pay full price, I opted for the Insignia-branded one. I've been using it now for about six weeks, and it works as expected - only at half the cost.

This is a great item. No need to charge right out of the box. It has enough juice to play for a while. When your battery is low, just plug in to the usb on your XBOX and keep playing. Extra long cord is a great add on for this item.

I selfishly purchased this, Insignia - Rechargeable Battery Pack for Xbox One, for my son as I was constantly running back and forth to the store for AA Batteries. 20 bucks later I have not been back to the store to buy AA batteries is almost 5 1/2 months. I figure this $20 purchase has save me about $200 in AA batteries alone with out factoring in the cost of gas to and from the store. Big win on all fronts. The only down fall is on Microsoft for using a micro USB charging port vs a USB-C charging port but again, that is on Microsoft rather than Insignia. Hope Microsoft steps their game up next time around. If you are into saving TIME and MONEY this is the product for you!

Instead of getting akaline batteries every couple of months get this. It's a cheap rechargeable lithium battery that can be charged by a micro usb cable. The fit is a bit snug thou.

These little battery packs are a lot better than the official packs from Microsoft. They charge with adapters or charging cables and, in my experience, they hold up much better than the Microsoft Play and Charge kits for the XBOX One.

After running through batteries like crazy I started to look around for rechargeable ones and ran across these. They hold a great charge and I am content with the purchase. Insignia has good quality products.

It's hard to mess up a battery and this is no exception. Put it in my extra controller and will continue to save money on non-rechargeable batteries. Recharges just as fast and with the same endurance as a Microsoft brand battery for less money.

Perfect for your Xbox console and controllers. Our original battery pack's have finally started to die and this replacement holds a long charge and charges quickly.

What is there to say, its way better than AA batteries. This does work via pc to charge if its plugged in via micro usb.

Only thing I can tell you is my grandkids love that battery could last a long time and they have no trouble recharging it and I'm going to get another one for my other grandson

I bought this to avoid changing batteries. They charge quickly, and last quite a while. They do fit a little tight in the battery compartment, but they won't rattle around and make noise when gaming.

Works great on Xbox Series X|S controllers. It lasts longer than the OEM ones too. I would buy 2 of these instead of 1 play-n-charge kit.
