Baby chewed through the original smart TV controller. Or I dropped it too many times. One of those. Anyway, while I could still turn on the TV and swap through inputs using physical dials, using it for streaming or web browsing was imposible. A replacement would cost at least $80, so this was the quickest most affordable option available. And it works. Pairing was quick, and I could do all the smart things the tv offered. The problem is that since it’s generic, it loses features from the original controller, but that’s to be expected. This does the job it sets out to do (although the power button is starting to wear out and work only half the time despite full batteries. ) this keeps it from being a 4.5, but I appreciate the price point and easiness to setup. Recommended.

After losing my remote I tried using different apps from phone. Nothing really worked out the way I wanted.This remote did everything I wanted and even synced up with my LG TV with out me doing anything. No issues so far.

A great much cheaper alternative to the LG remote it replaced. Out of the box it worked and all the functions on the TV and the remote worked. Roughly 1/5 the price of the LG replacement

This stick makes our LG TV work, but the set responds more slowly than it did to OEM's remote stick. It is also larger (longer), but that is of little consequence. At $30 (plus sales tax), it is overpriced.

The Insignia Replacement Remote for LG TV's has been an excellent replacement for our original remote. It was very affordable and works great.

The remote works flawlessly with my LG smart TV. I did not have to program it at all. Worked perfectly straight out the package... All remote functions work properly.

This remote is easy to use and worth the price. My original remote stopped working and I could not watch my T.V. But, buying this remote solved our problem. Also, with this remote I can switch to Netflix without using any remote.

I had one of these before, and it worked great until somebody inserted it in a water jug. So I bought another one to replace it, and then in a few days the original one dried out and to my surprise started working again! So I decided to keep this newly purchased one as a spare since we sometimes have a problem locating the remote so now I will always know where this new one is located. The only improvement I can think of in this remote is if they buttons would light up in the dark because if all the lights are out and I want to pause or rewind a Netflix movie it is hard to not press the wrong button.

Easy to use. Many great features. Works well with my LG TV. The remote is sleek and handles well in your hand.

Works great as a replacement for a dead factory supplied original remote. Plus, there was no complex programming since it was LG ready to go.

Purchased this remote 2 weeks ago because the directional buttons on the factory remote malfunctioned. It worked with my 40 something inch 4K LG LCD TV straight from the package - every button worked as it should. The instructions included in the package will lead you through a setup procedure should it not immediately work for you. The remote size longer than the original remote, but I find that is not a problem and doesn't effect how it works.

It was the perfect replacement remote for my LG tv. I didn’t even have to program it, just put the batteries in and away we went.

If the keys lighted up, this would be a perfect remote for my LG TV. Far better than the one that came with it.

Thought my remote for a LG 75UM6970PUB was broke. It stopped working and even with fresh batteries it wouldn't work. So I bought this. It worked right away but a day later the tv stopped responding to the remote again. Turned it to be a board in the tv itself. After that got replaced, I now have 2 working remotes again. Wish they had the magic remote for that tv in stock, I would have bought that for a bit more.

Purchased an LG TV with ThinQ technology in 2020, and being home so much, my kids quickly lost the remote. I was pleasantly surprised that this remote does not require programming! Straight out of the package, it worked. Only way these could be improved is if they had the magic remote pointer function.
