I love this remote!!! This is my second one cause my son lost the first one. You literally take it out of the package put batteries in and and away you go. There is no set up at all. Super easy. And I found my other 2 days after I bought this one. Oh well...now I have a back-up. :)

I have 2 LG TVs to which my lovely dogs are both remotes and I never have luck with universal remotes so the guy at the store said they’re a little more expensive but I said I don’t care and he was right I came home put the batteries in and pointed at the tv and I didn’t have to do another thing and my life has been a thousand times greater than it was

Works right out of the box. Only drawback is remote does not have a lighted feature for use at night.

The prior owners of my home left behind an LGTV and no remote. This item was cost efficient and quickly resolved my lack of understanding of the features And made it possible for me to enjoy this TV. Would buy again but hopefully I never have to.

Have a lg smart TV my englishbulldog chewed up my magic remote one night while I was sleeping so I needed a replacement. They didnt have a magic remote in stock but this one fit the bill great all I had to do was put batteries in and aim it at the tv and hit the power button and it was instantly synched. Would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a easy remote to link to their LG tv

this remote works well, easy to program and use. I had my doubts at first, but as soon as the batteries were installed, the "assembly" portion was done and it was ready for use. It didn't take long to get used to the length and memorize what each function did, I've already forgotten what the original remote looked like.

Lost my original LG remote, and waited expecting it to show up. Never did, and I ended up getting a PS5. Couldn’t maximize the tv settings due to no remote! Went to Best Buy and was shown right to these. Bought it and went straight home. Popped in batteries and it was good to go, no setup needed!

I purchased a 65" LG smart tv from one of Best Buy's open box deals and since the tv did not come with a remote the salesman suggested this universal LG Remote... Most universal remotes you have to program prior to use, well not this one! I plugged my LG tv in and immediately this remote worked. No set up required (:

I found that the remote had failed for out LG Smart TV, so I went to Best Buy to try to find a replacement, I was told by the folks in the TV Department that the original branded remotes were no longer available, and that this Insignia universal remote would work fine. So I did purchase it, and indeed it works perfectly, just like the original remote.
