WAY better than the "Magic" remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this after continuing frustration with the (so-called) Magic remote that came with my new LG TV. Absolutely GREAT replacement - works just as I expect a TV remote to work. DIdn't even have to pair it - put in the batteries (which it did not come with - what's up with that?), pointed at the TV, and BINGO it worked first try. I don't know what LG was thinking with that stupid Magic remote design but both my wife and I hate it. Firstly, the shape and feel is all wrong and too easy to touch the wrong button. Second, I have absolutely no desire to "speak" my commands rather than simply push the right button; to me, that is a lot easier. Not to mention anything that says "Alexa" (or Siri or Google) translates to me as "we're listening in and taking notes and maybe watching you", so no thanks. I'm surprised this is not the default remote for an LG TV.

It worked once, just once. I put it away after the first use and now a couple weeks later, after I've thrown away the box, didn't keep the receipt it won't even turn the TV on anymore. A complete waste of money. Do not buy, just contact LG for a replacement remote.

I bought a [ 50 LG TV from Best Buy Billings Mt, - the make was - UM7300 PUA Series - 2160 P Smart, I bought it Apr. 4 and it was delivered Apr. 6 - It did not come with a - Using Remote Control - in the TV Box. - I am unable to us the TV untill I get the Control, - Best Buy in Billings were I bought it will not send me one - and so fare LG will not eather - [ Real bad Co. ] will this LG Universal Remote work on this this UM7300 50 " TV. I would like to use it on my New TV. If it well Work, Check it out for me and send me one if it will work on my TV. AK.
