Shouldn't they give you a new one free if the remote fails??

Due to the fact that my friend has an old LG TV at home, she feels worried that the remote I bought it for her won’t work after it was being programmed. But it actually works and she feels very pleased.

I’ve bought other remotes that say it’s for your brand of tv and is easy to set up, but no they were not. This not only turns our LG on and off, but works with all our streaming apps.

Even then, a replacement remote virtually never works with the full functionality of the OEM. This one does. The buttons are easy to cross-identify and every one of them does what the corresponding button on the LG Smart Remote did.
