5 years after buying refurbished LG TV it works

Has never worked correctly from the beginning. The item took approximately 40 minutes to show a viable screen to follow. The remote accompanying the unit, now broken had to be replaced, asap. And to my amazement upon receiving the new universal remote, the unit works perfectly.

I was fairly pleased with the ease of setup, even though not all functions worked as listed on its Quick Start Guide. A couple of days ago, all of a sudden, the red LED light went wild and finally I had to remove the batteries to make it stop. After putting a new set of batteries in, as I thought that to be the cause, the problem persisted until I read the review of Anthony C. who posted the issue of "buttons getting stuck in the down position". True enough that was the reason for my remote malfunction as I discovered after lifting up the pesky 'stuck button' and to my relief my remote worked again! For this reason I cannot give it a high rating as it makes me doubt the quality of this product. At the same time I would like to thank the reviewer who first reported this issue as it spared me a call to Insignia Customer Service.
