I read the other reviews before going to Best Buy to buy this remote. I had just moved to my original remote was in a box somewhere. The reviews were correct. I took it right out of the packaging and it worked right away and it’s true it is so much easier than the original remote. I have since found my original remote but I don’t care to use it since this one is so fabulous. Great buy and works Great!!

This is MUCH easier to use than the poorly designed minuscule Samsung remote that supposedly fits in your palm. You don't need a microscope to see the buttons!

the original samsung remote was unstable. kept on falling of the table. kept on rolling. This is a good replacement remote. buttons are good and big. the buttons are visible in dark room

Great product as we have an older Sony tv and this remote is exactly like our old, broken one. We got it quickly and had good notifications about its arrival!

I had a older smart TV by Samsung ( 10 + years ) The remote foe the TV was 2 sided and went through batteries every 3 weeks, but I didn't need it because I had cable w/box. I started internet TV, but the old remote was just no good. So I good this Insignia for Samsung and I put in the batteries and that was all I had to do. Every thing work like it was made for that TV. I couldn't of asked for anything better. Vary happy with this Item. Ordering and pickup was easy and fast. Thank you Best Buy.

Great remote to replace my broken Samsung remote. It does the job for a good price. No programming was required for my 75in smart TV. It worked straight out of the box. Convenient.

The Samsung 48 inch Smart TV that I just bought is a very good TV. But, it came with a very "button dysfunctional" remote that had no number keys for selecting channels, had no guide button, no source button, etc. Everything had to be done through virtual interfaces. As an example just to select a channel to change to required bringing up the smart screen, paging over to the virtual numbers button and then traversing back and back and forth through the viutual 0 to 9 and dash buttons to select the channel and then traversing up to the virtual done button and pressing it. How much easier just to press the physical number and dash buttons. This remote restores all of the actual keys that Samsung in their wisdom decided to replace by virtual operations. And it worked right out of the box without any extra steps needed.

I could not find my original remote and shopped at Best Buy for a remote to replace the one that came with the TV which is an older Samsung. This action was taken after I exhausted trying to obtain a replacement from Samsung. This remote works wonderful and I did not have to do anything but install the batteries. It is easy to navigate and larger which is nice for mature individuals. I would highly recommend this remote.

We upgraded my wife's old Samsung Galaxy S6 to the iPhone SE (2nd generation) today, and we are very pleased. We had iPhones in the past, but moved to Android phones about 6 years ago due to the high cost of the iPhones. I moved my Motorola G6 to a refurbished 1st generation SE earlier this year, and was much happier with that phone. So when my wife's S6 battery won't hold much of a charge any longer, and the new SE 2nd generation came out, we quickly made the change. It's a great phone for the price.

So far so good. I only use this remote when I'm streaming. Otherwise I use the remote from the cable company. The Insignia worked instantly without any programing. My Samsung smart TV is probably about 4 years old. The original remote just stopped working. This replacement seems to do everything that the original did.

As others have said, out of the box, no config necessary it just worked with our Samsung Q70. The only small gripe I have is that since it's not backlit, it's really hard to find the buttons when it's a bit dark. Since we never had the Samsung remote in the first place, we have nothing to compare it to so maybe would be the same as OEM. In any case, good remote!

WORKED WELL IN REPLACING THE DAMAGED REMOTE. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE FACT THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH A LONG SET UP ACTIVITY. IT WORKED INSTANTLY WITHOUT HAVING TO BE SET UP. THE PRICE WAS GOOD AND WAS LED DIRECTLY TO THE REMOTE I NEEDED BY THE SALES PERSON. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE PURCHACSE.

I got this thinking I'd check it out before giving it to my parents, who appreciate simple, uncomplicated controls because they don't use the remote for much other than the TV channels and volume. Love the easy color and large buttons, because my dad is a farmer with large hands. BTW - I'm loving it too.

Love this remote! Purchased as a replacement because a button stopped working on the original remote for my Samsung - 40" Class (40" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV. This remote worked with my tv the second I turned it on. No need to enter a code or program anything! It's not as sleek and pretty as the original, but it's definitely easier to use.

I spilled juice on my original Samsung remote and destroyed it. Bought this replacement and love it even more! It has many additional features that the first one did not. Color coded keys, numeric keypad, etc.. Thank you for producing an affordable and reliable product.

This remote was purchased for my 75 year old mother who is not electronics literate. It was very easy for her to use even when I walked her through what buttons to push over the phone while using her Firestick. Price was higher than I would have expected but it immediately worked on her Samsung TV with out a lot of programing and entering codes.
