Just purchased a new Samsung Smart TV and my toddler Misplaced the remote within 48 hrs, I needed something stat and this worked great, I eventually found her really great and impressive hiding spot and now have two remotes but its great to have and was very easy to set up. Have had over a year now and still going great buttons work and all the writing on remote is still very legible.

Purchased this for my mothers new Samsung Smart TV that had the little remote that has no numbers on it. And my mother hated it! I seen this at Best Buy and ask the Best Buy sales person in the TV department if this will work and replace the OEM remote that came with the TV. He said that it would. So I purchased it and took it over to my mothers a smart it up. Setup was very easy. Had it setup in less than 5 minutes. My mother loves this remote. The remote works all the function on the TV.

Was a little apprehensive at first that it would not function as I was hoping that it would. There are a couple glitches that I was not too happy about, like the close caption function, that has a Japanese lady that verbally does her thing with every button that I push. I realize that it was just so easy with OEM remote, that I got spoiled and will just have to learn patience. Overall, I am satisfied with the functionality of this replacement and if need be, I would buy again.

Easy to set up. Connected right to the tv straight out of the package. Buttons are nice size and easy to see.

Hardest part is putting in the batteries, as soon as I did that it worked without any code. Automatically synced itself to my Samsung TV.

When you lose the remote to a Samsung smart TV, you may find out they’re replacing it cost $70 or more. At least, that’s what I found out. After searching a bit, I decided to try this substitute from Best Buy, at less than half the price I thought I would try it out. If it didn’t work, I would just return it. Well, it’s seven weeks later, and I haven’t returned it. Everything works just fine, just like the original. I did not have to do any mapping of buttons or anything. However it does lack the thumb stick that my original remote had. For certain functions, the Samsung remote had this button that you could move around a little bit like a joystick, and the screen would show a cursor for it. This remote does not have such a thumb stick. I really don’t care, however. This remote works fine, and the battery cover, thankfully, looks pretty sturdy.

Work ok with my product. Easy to setup. Bought this as a replacement for the original Samsung remote. Good as u looking for a cheaper option.

My TV remote was not responding. Was not sure what I was going to do. Just happened to be in the area of a Best Buy and decided to stop. Had my remote with me. The sales agent stated that they were operating only on an appointment basis. So I said, "What can I do about my remote. I've changed the batteries and it still does not work." He said, "You need to replace it." My next question was, "do you all have them and can I get it today?" I was delighted when he said, "Yes." He ran to get one as was back in a jiffy. Outstanding customer service. Thankful that I was able to make my purchase at the door and be on my way. And amazed that it works! No stressing over pairing it with my TV or any technical drama.

Great product at a very attractive price. I would buy again. Works exactly as described with no programming required.
