My receiver died and this was a perfect replacement. It's made specifically to work with Samsung TV's. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but worth the extra money because it syncs easily and there's no need to search for a code. If you're willing to go through numerous codes and have tons of patience, then you can find less expensive models.

The remote that came with my Samsung TV failed due to a battery leak. My Best Buy associate came to the rescue, recommending the Insignia Replacement Remote. I struggled opening the battery compartment, but other than that, setup was easy peasy. Once the battery was in place all I had to do was press the power button. Voilà, I was back in business.

This is a great remote. The original controller to my Samsung TV went missing. I bought this as a replacement, and it was very simple to program. I am not tech savvy, and had it programmed in less than 15 minutes. As a bonus, it also replaced my cable remote, so now I only have to deal with using one.

I just turned on the TV and it worked; no setup or synching needed. The salesman at Best Buy picked it out and recommended it to to me and I am so glad that he did. In the past I have gone with a Universal remote and that is definitely not the way to go. This was perfect!!!!

I have a new Samsung tv that had one of those fancy microphones you can talk to. Unfortunately, my dog ripped it up along with one of these replacement remotes. This is now my second one and they work great. I almost prefer them to the fancy controller that came with the tv.

My dog ate my original remote so I had to go and buy a new one. Found this one very quickly with help of dude at BB. The remote is bigger than the one that came with my TV. Which is good for me, because sometimes we would "misplace" it. Easy to use, my 4 yo figured out how to get to Netfilx in no time. Not sure what it is made of, but very smooth.

I lost (puppy chewed it up) my first remote for my Samsung TV and kept ordering new ones from Amazon. They never worked. The Geek Squad was At my house to do some work and they told me about this remote. It worked like a charm! My thanks to Best Buy Geek Squad and to this inexpensive replacement for my remote!

Good remote. Easy to connect to my tv and easy to program. Would recommend this remote to friends. Easy to read labeling on the remote and nice coloring to separate the different remote functions. Would definitely buy again if need be.

Purchased this to replace original Samsung remote which no longer would change channels. Got this home and all function resumed without effor. Great replacement. Only wish remote has backlight keys to easier see. The remote does not have back light keys. Good replacement

Good universal remote good price and it works good

Great replacement remote for my child's Samsung TV when the original remote broke. I did not have to program it. I just put the batteries inside, and was able to use it for the tv instantly. I thought the remote was alittle expensive for a replacement remote, but I'm pleased on how it works.

We lost the remote for our Smart TV, so we couldn't access the apps. This remote was reasonably priced and worked right out of the box. Would definitely recommend!

We had lost a remote during a move and needed a new remote. I was looking for a universal remote when the store associate recommended this. I had no idea there were brand specific remotes. Brought this one home and it worked immediately, no need for programming or setting anything up.

I have purchased replacement remotes before and always found them hard to program or hard to operate. This remote did not give me any problems and works as well as the manufacturer’s remote that it is replacing.

I purchased this remote to replace one that had stopped working. It couldn’t have been easier to use. All I had to do was insert the batteries and test the remote. I like the idea that it stated that it works for recent TVs so that I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a problem.

Our 12 year old tv (Samsung) remote broke, so I got this 1 to replace it. It was super simple to set up and it works better than the original simce it controls more tham just the tv! Very pleased with this purchase.

I was apprehensive to purchase this universal remote as I really wanted the original remote that came with our TV, but I’m glad I made the purchase. Other than a frustrating setup process (completely my doing), remote has been working easily and great!

Kids lost the remote! Couldn’t watch Netflix on it, i have bought some cheaper universal remotes and didn’t work, they even had the color bars on there. (Shortcut buttons)So this was the closest pick, to not buying directly from the manufacturer and it works great now. thanks

This remote worked right out the box with no issues. Unfortunately I had to return it as it did not have the voice option like the original remote. This was an error in my part but if you don't need that function its a great replacement.

Bought this when my 8-year-old lab chewed up our other remote! It's nice, has a grip though most of all, easy to program. I HATE doing that type of thing and this was so simple, I could follow it! And it works. After programming, hold it down a bit longer than it states, then it will work.
