Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The remote for our old Samsung (75” 3D Q80, ONE remote, at least 10 years old) went out and we needed a new remote. The Insignia Replacement remote has even more features than our old ONE remote from Samsung. Got another Insignia remote for our newer big Q80 TV because the OEM ONE remote from Samsung does not have number keys on the remote itself. The Insignia offers more features!

It provided functionality for most if not all features. Be sure to check compatibility with your Samsung TV model. Also, a lot less expensive then the flimsy remotes that come with Samsung TVs.

Juat needs to backlit

This option was right in the middle pricewise and specifically mentioned it was for Samsung TV. It was incredibly easy to set up, I just aimed it at my television, pressed a button and done! I've had it for a couple of months now and it's working great.

It mimics the operations of the original Samsung remote. It follows the same procedures to switch between networks and the devices you want to control just like the original Samsung remote. If you are familiar with the Samsung original equipment’s remote you’ll have no problems using this remote as a backup or replacement.

The buttons are large enough and spaced apart enough for him to press one button instead of a multitude! If it was a tad wider than would be stupendous!
