I was relieved to have found this remote, as it works well with our tv. But it’s very large and clunky, with buttons that are loud and a little difficult to press down. Feels cheap.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great remote my old Sony tv remote died from corroded batteries. bought a clone of amazon worked for some time but broke this remote worked great out of the box no codes to learn just point and click. for the price especially how hard it is to get a Sony remote from Sony this product is 5/5 however I do wish the remote had backlight buttons and there was no battery included would have been nice even it was some crappy Chinese battery or Bestbuy brand batteries but no biggie for me. also I do wish this remote had a microphone like the original remote did I know at this price range its pushing but those would have been nice features

Replacement Remote for Sony KD-50X690E

We did not have to recode the remote it worked perfectly out of the package. The original has two buttons on the upper left for sync and input, the replacement has a input button only with the sync on the lower left. The other difference seem to buttons on the original ex "Wide" to adjust display which is accomplish on the replacement within other buttons. Basically, there are fewer buttons on the replacement face but the suctions are still there.

You don't need to follow steps and fails some of the steps while trying to activate your control. Just put new batteries and try it with any Sony and it will work right away.
