But it certainly beats manually getting up to change the channels. Otherwise, the remote is great.

The instructions are laughably inadequate.

It worked for my Sony Tv right out of the box. I just had to program it with my Sony audio receiver, which was very easy to do as the instructions that came with the remote were pretty straightforward to understand.

Great replacement for lost remote

It just has a few buttons that are a little different, but it doesn’t take long to get use to it. This was a very good replacement.

It is functional and worked without any setup. The only thing that I don't like is the tactile feel of the button click, and its very loud click. I don't use this remote except to make adjustments as I primarily use an Apple TV 4K box and its accompanying remote.

It does come with a list of codes for other makers. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is that it didn't come with batteries.

Just turned it on and it found our Sony TV. (Found out the hard way that some cheaper remotes are both a pain to program and then need reprogramming any time the battery dies.) This is how all remotes should work.
